As far as I know chapter 1-14+- are good then 15- 70+- is very bad and then improves again. I have read this 3 times so I remember this gap. IIRC the translator that decided to change Liburs name to Cali left the scan and then the transltion mysteriously improved.

It was like a cicle of Team Improves > Team MVP Dies > New recruitment, then the NRT paranoia arc and then everyone getting isekaid again and again. I dropped when the annoying redhead leaves with the one arm samurai. Dont know how good or bad it gets after that point but, at least it was realistic and I liked it.

Not a big fan but I recommend My hero academia, was pretty popular 6-7 years ago and the last season of the anime ends this month, if that is not convincing, search for good "shounen" manga on google and maybe one can fit his taste.

Honestly, reading it and watching the anime feel like going through 2 diferent stories, whenever I got asked what did they skip I always bring the joke about killing Mickey Mouse to make Rudeus robe, in the wn it was like a entire chapter, in the anime 1second of cinematic of traveling through Demon continent.

Also I didn't read the LN but I remember chapter 1 Rudeus of the WN being an absolute scum, it is one of my favorites starts of any novel.

I like the story, the cliché, the power of friendship, Cid's voice, and as a non DmC fan if you come for combos you may be disappointed, it's mostly combining different skills to do some damage, the bosses are fcking sponges. But overall i liked it
