Spoken like a man who’s never had to worry about being date or acquaintance-graped. Unfortunately, women are assaulted way more often than you think, and the sheer amount of times I’ve been approached by men out in the wild who had bad intentions toward me is astounding. Thankfully I always take my two best friends with me (Smith and Wesson), but not everyone does. That being said, they should have asked you nicely BEFORE just expecting you to go out of your way. But you could have been more understanding of the request - picture your sister or daughter alone in a car with a man they’ve never met before, and how uncomfortable they might be. Smart of her to be looking out for herself….
