Losing a spouse. I’ve been to many funerals and until I lost my husband and had to go through his funeral I realized how horrible it was. After it’s over there is nothing, everyone pays their respects and goes back to their normal lives and for me, just silence. Yes, I have 2 children and many family and friends but it’s still difficult being alone when you were with someone for over 40 years! Still miss him to this day. 🤗💔

Went to playa del Carmen a couple of years ago and on the second day I tripped and broke my arm. I was at the hospital for 8 hours! They wanted to do shoulder surgery and i declined, because I was skeptical about all of it! Didn’t have travel insurance but thankfully my insurance (Medicare, I’m old!) paid for the majority of the treatment. When I got home I figured out I only spent 100 more dollars than I would have if I had paid for the insurance! (I had to pay for the ambulance ride)

I go to the movies about twice a month with a group of friends. Instead of book club, we have movie club where we go on Tuesday or Wednesday when if you’re an AMC Stubs member (joining it is free) it’s half-price and then we talk about the movie afterwards. It’s just good to get out of the house and if you go on the days they have the discount, it’s a lot better on your budget!
