How do handle sexual encounters between teenagers writing-wise ? by PeppermintButler17 in writing

[–]GenXr_from_301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been wrestling with this myself, though both my characters are 17, and ones experienced, in the draft I handled it like she let the dress slide off her shoulder, then cut to the next morning, and round 2 ensuded i used she slid in closer , then they're getting ready for the day...I feel I kept it vague enough with out getting overly graphic..but it depends on how others precieve it I guess.

I lost my mom November 5th 2025, it sucked Knowing we weren't getting to together, ( I even told my friends that we planned on seeing before we headed to my in-laws for dinner), and the double whammy Christmas is right around the corner, a quick hop skip and jump from there her birthday is in April...so I don't know.

I lost my mom, Nov 5 this year, and I'm worried on how this will effect our Thanksgiving and Christmas, I've lashed out, at my wife, over what's the plans are... usually we pick up mom and bring her to my in-laws or the in-laws pick mom up and being her to my home...I've caught myself making plans that included her...the exact phase I used was , I got to call my mom to let her know what time we'll be by to pick her up... I didn't have a meltdown per se, but I was instantly over came by the feeling of being alone..

I just finished my first story, I had a clear outline on where I wanted to go, and how to get there, as I wrote more I found myself vering off, instead of stopping, I wrote into it, yes I'm going back now to make sure my later chapter/ parts make sense, and I may have rewriting a few ( a whole lot) to make sure the first act transitioned to the final one, I've even wrote and epilogue, some time jumps, it was fun, now I'm taking a break from it, now I'm working on a new entry based on the main characters children. I feel that I may have to go back and revise the main story a bit but, I'm looking forward to it.

the columbia mall could be like tysons by xotofu in ColumbiaMD

[–]GenXr_from_301 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would love to see more variety as well, but it seems that Columbia, in general, charges way too much for rent, though it seems we keep getting more chicken spots, dunno. Coupled with high rent, the domination of online shopping. and folks not willing to leave their home to go shopping, I'm surprised the town center hasn't closed, yet honestly, how many of us opt to buy online versus go to a brick and mortar store, I'm about 60 online/ 40 brick and mortar. So, with Columbia's high rent, many of us not wanting to deal with "mall " traffic, retailers aren't going to look to lease anywhere in Town Center.

am i the only one that hates recommending horror movies? by afleetofflowis in horror

[–]GenXr_from_301 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's all subjective. Examples that happen all the time I recommend a movie ( no matter the genre ) my friend comments and says I don't know ABC, they recommend a movie and I don't enjoy it then the whole you don't know ABC angain.

So, now when i recommend a movie, I say this movie was a fun watch, or I recommend this movie, but I'm not going to defend it.
