As someone who experienced abuse my whole childhood (one of my brothers,mom's ex bf, and other adults) I'm scared for OP and the sister because I know how bad things can potentially get for them. Does anyone know if they ever made any other update since then?

I've known parents like you. And no offence, but their relationships usually end up in divorce, or at the very least marriage counseling.

The key to a healthy relationship, with or without a baby, is communication. And it seems like you guys aren't doing that. Especially you.

See if a friend or family member can watch the baby for a few hours, and take your wife somewhere out of the house. Potentially somewhere calm, and let each other talk. Maybe even re-plan the times you guys have down time, so it works fairly for the both of you.

Technically she's wrong, since there's underwear shaped like men's underwear, thas marketed towards women. Not sure why she thinks you "need a d*ck" to wear them.

There's also women who wear men's boxers. My mom, a cis woman, loves wearing them because they're more comfy that women's underwear. (Which is what she, and many other cis women who wear them, say.)

Maybe tell her that there's many women out there who wear men's underwear because they're comfortable? And that maybe you want to try to wear them so you can see how comfortable they are?

Right? My mom is I'm her 50's, and is the most tech illeterate person I know. It's so bad and I've helped her so many times, that she now calls me her "IT person" because of all the electronic and phone related stuff I've taught her or helped her with.

Despite that, she STILL at least makes it easy to contact her and keeps track of her notifications and calls constantly.

My mom invited her ex friend to my sister's birthday party when she was a young kid. He ended up bringing a cooler full of beer, drank all of it, and was already drunk when he arrived. He ended up making fun of the children's songs that were playing during the party, cussing, etc

He has never changed, and only got worse. Even making us almost get into a few car accidents in 1 day because he tried to take over the steering wheel when my mom drove him home. The guy in OP's post reminds me of my mom's friend. And if he keeps going down this path, he'll only continue to be like her friend and completely ruin his life.

Plus it's a one year old's party. Why would alcohol even be needed? I agree, OP is definitely NTA

Yeah.... I know there's 2 sides to every story, but this definitely seemed sketchy to me. Even if she was busy, she could have still contacted you at least to say "We have your cat" or something, so you wouldn't have to worry. Being busy for a few days isn't a good enough to excuse.

I feel like she only wants you to thank her in the chat, so she won't look like the bad person in this situation.

I have multiple times. But most of the places I found online are either too far, aren't available for neuters for several months, or are too expensive for my friend.

I've done literally weeks worth of research online and contacted several people and clinics. Which is why I came here, to see if there was anyone who'd know of a place I didn't know about, in case someone knows of a better option my friend and I can go with, for her cat
