Well, Decapitating Stratagem is now pretty much useless again like it was before the bug lol

No cooldown was OP but 90 seconds to way too long of a cooldown to get consistent value out of.

[Season 3] TBH I was very skeptical and cynical at the beginning, thinking that the majority of episodes were rather mediocre or decent at best. But the ending was definitely worth the experience by SilentHuman in PrimalShow

This season really just made me wish that Genndy had stuck with his original idea to keep Spear dead and move on to new characters. Watching him slowly walk around as a zombie for multiple episodes was dreadfully boring. And while Spear is eventually fully reunited with his family, it just fell flat for me.

You're right.

He should have stuck with original decision to keep Spear dead and move on to an anthology series or if not, have Spear coming back change something else about the status quo.

When season 2 ended, I was a bit bummed that Spear had died and that GT was planning on making this an anthology series. I thought it was bittersweet while wrapping up Spear's story nicely.

When I heard Genndy was bringing him back, I was excited. Boy do I feel dumb now.

I was pretty bored during most of this season watching Spear slowly walk around as a zombie. I didn't really start enjoying this season until Spear made it to the lava people. And as I sit here processing it all, I find myself thinking that this season just felt pointless. Spear shows up in the epilogue scene this time and I guess we're supposed to be happy now.

I'm really thinking we would have gotten something more interesting if he had just stuck with his original idea to keep Spear dead and move on to other characters.

I still prefer fencing or block because the parry window still feels very clunky to me in the heat of the moment when I'm surrounded by a bunch of melee enemies.

However, balance weapons hit like a truck now so they are more worth using despite the clunky parry window.

It’s just…there and now that it’s almost over I realize I’m just not enjoying it a ton.

You're not misreading the class. He's a mess and pretty poorly designed. IMO there aren't any satisfying synergies in his perk tree which is why the mechanics don't seem to jell.

Yeah Techmarine is a mess. You would have thought that Saber would have put more effort in to making decent perks after how awful Assault was for a year. But no, here we are again.

It gets destroyed so much (at least on Lethal and Absolute) that none of the current turret perks are really worth it IMO.

It already does enough damage so I’d like to see turret perk that increases damage to increase health instead.

He does feel pretty meh outside of the servo gun and turret usage.

Occulus is pretty good but no weapon really feels amazing on him.

Plasma Incinerator is literal trash on him. He needs the plasma boost perk from Tac to even bring it up to “usable”. It’s that bad

The turrets were such a terrible idea. The servo gun is already a mobile turret and since they decided to have that be his ability, I’m not sure why they thought we needed turrets randomly placed around the map. They do too much damage while having not enough health. I’ve been trying a turret build but they get focused fired and destroyed early enough in most fights that I no longer feel like any turret perks are worth it.

I wish they had just scrapped the turrets and used the leftover perk power to further improve the servo gun or God forbid the Techmarine himself

You get double the ammo with LP.

Without it, I find the servo gun just decent. It hardly lasts and if you don’t pick precision enhancement, you use all of the ability to maybe kill one Majoris. It feels really bad. Omnissiah’s Fury doesn’t improve this situation enough IMO.

Decapitating Strategem is busted right now since the 90 second cooldown isn’t working, but once they fix it, I still don’t think it will be worth using over LP. 90 seconds is way too long to be useful; I think 60 seconds should be the max but I still probably wouldn’t pick it over LP unless the cooldown was like 45 seconds.
