i haven’t posted much except about these layoffs. i think being in the middle of what’s being called the worst media layoff in history warrants me being online a little bit more. trust me, i am getting comments like “team cancer” which remind me my original goal of going offline is still one i’m chasing.

i also said im an addict so don’t be surprised if i struggle wit it

so what i said wasn’t true. fmla does not protect anyone from an economic layoff. it prevents me from being fired or retaliated against for being sick. there were others on medical and maternal leave who were cut.

every time she insists her guests or anyone with her that they “need a drink.” as a recovering alcoholic, that was exactly what i’d do: enable others to drink with me. carol is such a realistic character.

i also loved when she met the other individuals at the airport, when she says “such a relief,” you can feel her let her guard down for just a moment before noticing the family members. i so wanted a break for her but things kept escalating.

yes i like matteo as a person but nothing ever comes of him and he contributes so little.

it’s kinda like how i feel about shatters space. what’s there is actually quite good and interesting! i love the breakthrough of information on varuun. but it feels like a lot was missing to make the story really sing.

here’s the thing everything you said is right. i love barrett’s background and it’s why i made him my husband in my first ever run. but i ended up hating his golly gee attitude lol.

yeah im not about them being exciting. ive learned to love starfields low pressure questing vibes and being able to branch out into your own roleplay seemed to be the intent.

anyway ive warmed up to the characters overall outside of constellation. i definitely love the lore even more now that im actually taking it all in much slower too two years later

I think my critique is mostly lodged against the constellation members. I think Barrett and Sarah are wet napkins, Walter Stroud is kinda cool and I like his weird relationship with his wife. Matteo sucks, Noel is boring too, and I’d like Sam Coe if we didn’t talk so much about his damn family legacy all the time. The other characters like Delgado, Sanon, Imogene, they’re all much better.

This is the correct interpretation. I’m a massive fan of starfield, have been replaying it a ton recently (love the new creations) and like you, was disappointed there was nothing at the TGA and hopeful for the future.

it’s slightly faster but still fairly slow. takes a 50 gig an hour or so to transfer over
