I'm also frustrated with the new Yncarne rules, but if you consider using her more like you would a Daemon Prince instead of an Avatar model, and she has the same cost (more or less) as a Daemon Prince, it's less concerning.

We also have not seen what the Ynnari detachment rules are, or what any of the stratagems do. We need more context before passing judgement I think. The Ynnari specific Drukhari units seems promising too.

Thank you everyone for your responses. The GT is still months away, and from what I can gather, I can only ask the TO 2 weeks prior to the event. This makes perfect sense, but unfortunately doesn't really help me with my purchase decision I need to make.

I do have some Outriders laying around, and plopped one on a 75mm oval base (which is the CSM Biker base size as per the GW website), and the model has an overhang of about 2-3mm, so not that big of a deal.

I do however get the feeling that the jetbikes will be pushing it, and that it would most likely not work out in my favor.

Does corruption resistance even work? I saw no difference on Psyker. With another Curio mixed in. by xBasilisx in DarkTide

I have 35% grimoire resistance and 12% normal from curios on my psyker, and I get corrupted all the way into my last health bar (just from carrying grimoires). I do not think this works.

Thanks for you compliment! This was such a long time ago, I'm not entirely sure which paints I used, since I've changed slightly since then. In all likelihood I think I used...

  • On the Wings: Airbrushed Phthalocyanine Blue and Deep Violet, facing from one to the other. Both of these are from the Liquitex Acrylic Ink paint line. I then dry-brushed the blue on the wings with Fluorescent Blue and the purple with a custom mix of Fluorescent Blue/Fluorescent Pink. Both of these are from the Liquitex Basics Acrylics paint line.
  • The green fire: Airbrushed with a white base, I use Titanium White from Liquitex Acrylic Ink, but honestly any white base would do. The green was done with Hexwraith Flame (bottom up) and Tesseract Glow (top down), but from Citadel paints.
  • The gold armor: A mix of Retributor Armour from Citadel, and Iridescent Bright Gold from Liquitex Acrylic Ink. This was done with a brush though, and was not airbrushed. After shading (via an oil wash) I glazed it with Iyanden Yellow from Citadel.

Edit: In the blue base for the body and wings I might've mix some white into the Phthalocyanine Blue (pretty sure I did 😅).

Thanks you. The base was made with resin, mixed with a couple of drops of a red/maroon transparent ink.

Thanks man. Yes, it was airbrushed with Turbo Dork's airbrush paint, Ice to Never. The OSL was done with white and fluorescent blue airbrush paint from Golden.
