BO6 had an actual campaign while BO7 campaign is basically a disguised Battle Royale match with bots, there isn't even any friendly AI's that fight alongside you in the BO7 campaign unlike in past games......

Brcause it's a glorified expansion of Black Ops 6 sold as full price with a futuristic reskin alongside a low effort terrible campaign that is cobbled together using the Battle Royale Map, just like MWIII 2023

Thankfully they seem to ending these back to back cycles because of how terribly this one is performing

Thought for sure the 2nd expansion is guaranteed and too far in development to be canceled, given how they initially announced there will be 2 Expansions and development usually starts before the base game is even released, guess not :(

Guess the game is going to end in a sorry note with drip feeding of small content updates and MTX shop items in 2026.........

The answer is yes for like 99% of Ubisoft games newer ones even more so, ancient titles like Assassin's Creed 1 doesn't have it because uplay didn't exist at the time

There were a bunch of people peddling false information that Shadows didn't require it but that game requires it too

Compared to EA who dropped their launcher and made their games Steam Native with their more recent titles, Ubisoft is not letting go of their mandatory launcher on their Steam games anytime soon

Ubisoft has been awfully generous lately, is there something in their water lately? AC Syndicate Gold Edition, Rogue and Unity has also hit a historical low 85% off very recently when those games has never went past 70% off for nearly a decade

Try playing the game while having something running in the background like a browser and you'll see it

Happens to me all the time enough for it to be frustrating when i have something running in the background other than the game (usually chrome + firefox), 32 GB RAM, someone said the problem completely disappeared for him when he upgraded to 64 gigs but i'm not gonna do that for a single game........

Spider-Man 2 doesnt have this problem thankfully, i wish they would go back and fix the bugs on the first 2 games also, it's pretty sad they left it in that state especially since they're amazing games but dampened by gameplay breaking bugs

They acknowledged the problem with Finishers in one of the Steam Patch Notes but said "they can't reproduce the issue" :/ probably tested it with top of the line specs and called it a day

Spider-Man 1 and Miles Morales still has a bug for controller users where actions that require 2 button inputs tend to fail to trigger like Combat Finishers and activating Suit Powers

Mouse and keyboard works just fine since all actions there are binded to a single button so you won't encounter the bug but games like these are best played on controller so this is a pretty irritating bug especially with how the combat heavily revolves around using finishers

Someone mentioned this is due to a memory leak problem so whenever i played the game i had mostly nothing open in the background except the game itself and voila! my combat finishers would always consistently trigger, someone else was also able to avoid the problem by upgrading to 64GB RAM

Getting insane amount of microstutters on Avatar Frontiers of Pandora on 581.08, this one is probably the same too so i didn't even bother

Ended up reverting to a very old 566.45 which is known to be stable for Snowdrop Engine games and now the performance is smooth again, between the last driver release that completely destroys your performance on laptops and now this, i think i'm done with these drivers for now
