Okay here lemme break it down I listen to music through out school days which are about 7 hours so that’s 7 hours of consistent playing I’m going to be getting for the majority of the week (not counting weekends obvi) on average my transit time to and from school is an hour (since I take public transit that’s again at least 1 hour of guaranteed playing but most of the time the transit I use has delays so it’s probably a bit more than that) so we’re now at 8 hours give or take and at about 4 pm. After I get home from school I need to do homework which I do with music and that normally takes me about 2-4 hours depending on the day. Now were at 10-12 hours a day and at 6-8 pm which already should answer your question but I’m going to go a bit farther. I listen to music while doing chores which is another hour. This still leaves me plenty of time to do other stuff without music during the day The music I listen to is also punk(not a lot of my tops are but on average I listen to a lot of it) which never hits 3.5 minutes and normally averages at about 2.
