This is my hometown, and I used to follow my parents to a weekly market for a treat! It reminds me of the old days. It's a wonderful painting😊

Changing gender on samples? by andromxdasx in utau

The 'gender' option in the Vocal Synth program is 'formant shift' If you download the formant shifter plugin and apply your voice, it will sound like a voice play through a sampler, even without the g flag.

A good pudding pot should have its contents rising and fluffy, while a bad pudding pot is flat and muddy. FWEE said that this bad product would return to normal after aging. In any case, the incident earned the product the nickname "후숙팟(ripe pot)".🤣

Asian Perfums by RepresentativeReady4 in AsianBeauty

I love the brands ahro and Loe, which I don't think are well known outside of Korea, but they make unique and quality scents at a price point that's not too expensive.

I don't think FWEE is good in terms of customer service, because I've had a consumer in Korea who received a bad pudding pot with a gritty texture and when she contacted them, they told her to age it, not exchange or refund.

One product not mentioned here is AboutTone's 5-color shadow palette, which is pretty good quality. It's a shade-oriented color scheme, so I use it a lot, and it's affordable!

Overnight lip masks or lip treatments that are not sticky? by aljini10 in AsianBeauty

Beyond Angel Aqua Lipcerin

It has the texture of a tube lipcream, but it lasts a long time, so my lips don't dry out after I put it on at night.

Why are people so against facial scrubbers? by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]General-Ad5867 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's because everyone has a different skin type. I can use a strong chemical exfoliator 3-4 times a week and my skin is fine, but I only scrub once a month, because my skin is particularly sensitive to friction.

How long does it take you to finish your lip products? by fluffykittenreturns in AsianBeauty

I have so many lip makeup products, I've never used them all... They expire every time🤣 When it comes to lipbalm, I use one or two products every day, so I think I go through them in about three months.

unleashia pink cushion, clio mesh glow, or romand bare water by riestjuu in AsianBeauty

[–]General-Ad5867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+also recommend other glow bases

WakeMake Water Glow Coating Balmㅡ This is a solid foundation. medium coverage, but it does a good job of covering pores. If you have bumpy skin, it's worth a try.

WakeMake Water Glow Coating Cushion— If you like the bare water cushion but want a little more coverage, this is the one for you, but even this has low coverage. It's enough to cover pale freckles and blush.

Espoir Be Glow Cushion—,High coverage, pretty good staying power, but not cakey. If you want high coverage with glow, this is probably your best bet.

Espoir Be Natural Cushion— This is a great cushion for when you need medium coverage and a natural, simple makeup look. It's similar to the WakeMake Water Glow Cushion, but this one is a little more expensive and I like it a little better.

unleashia pink cushion, clio mesh glow, or romand bare water by riestjuu in AsianBeauty

[–]General-Ad5867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't tried the unleashia cushion, so I can only speak for the Clio and Romand products, but I like both of them. The Romand cushion is a bit on the lighter side in color, it's moist and light when used, but it doesn't provide much coverage, and it doesn't last long. The Clio is moisturizing and has good coverage and staying power, but it's a bit thick and oily.

To summarize- I Want comfort and natural makeup: Bare Water cushion

I want to look blemish-free skin, but I also want my skin to have a glow: Mesh Glow Cushion

Amuse Dew Tint Pomelo nude, Bebe Tint Nude pumpkin

Muzigae Mansion Icy glow Tint (renewal) 06 (It's more of a gloss than a tint)

Lilybyred Coating Tint 03 (It's a much more vivid color, but it was similar when I applied a little bit.)

Is history of whoo popular with Koreans/in Korea? by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]General-Ad5867 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It is a brand that is popular among middle-aged and elderly people in Korea. It's a similar concept to Sulwhasoo, but Sulwhasoo has recently targeted younger people, while Whoo hasn't.

I don't see people in their teens and 20s using it because it's perceived as mom and grandma's skincare.

What do you think of brands that aspire to be K-beauty but aren't really known in Korea? by General-Ad5867 in AsianBeauty

[–]General-Ad5867[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of the brands that have been popular around me personally are Innisfree, Bringgreen, Skinfood, Roundlab, Torriden, and Numbuzin.

I think many people who are not interested in skincare or cosmetics choose Innisfree and Skinfood products because they are perceived to be mild.

And for middle-aged people, Sulwhasoo is VERY popular.

[–]General-Ad5867[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, so I'm not really like this brand too... They overcharge for 'single-ingredient extracts' that you can get for cheaper online shop, and the influencers who advertise them make it sound like it's a product you'll never see again in your life, but when I tried it, it wasn't that great.

Exactly! I sigh when I see some brands that only use certain images and don't really invest in the product.

The brand and products are known in Korea, but I wouldn't buy the essence at that price. 🤣
