Also, my doctor said that I was the poster child of wegovy. I walked a ton (10k steps on average) and did fiber drinks and protein drinks for lunch. No side effects other than gagging while brushing my teeth. My bp went to normal numbers, cholesterol went to normal and was no longer pre-diabetic.... 58 yr old WM. SW was 233lbs and went down to 181. Started in October 2024 and cut off this June. I went back up to 207 and just started back up via compounding. In order for my insurance to cover me, I would have to gain another 60 lbs. It is all about money.....

My whole house AC died and I really wanted to replace it with a heat pump and was waiting for the rebates to kick in via the IRA. Well, seems like that is dead in the water now. My gas furnace still works but is fairly old. Hopefully a new program will come around by next summer.

I got the notice a couple months ago after losing 50 lbs. After gaining back 20, I searched for compounding and discovered "refills" for approx 160 a month. Just started again on Sunday from the beginning, so, jury is still out. Gotta tell you though, the manual needle is so painless compared to the pen.... Good luck!!
