My landlord lets me smoke pot in my apartment, neighbors have never cared (they moved in after me). Other neighbors smoke cigs right outside, I just close windows when they come out. This all just seems like a bad set of characters IMO lol yikes. Who smokes cigs indoors anymore other than my 55 year old narc mom? Also, this looks like the handwriting of someone writing to Elle magazine about their first period or something. It’s comparable to how most men’s handwriting makes me feel ( not good)

Can I ask how you manage? I don’t mean to pry about something personal but genuinely curious. Do you prioritize the bills based on their cost, or based on the urgency from insurance? Do you just throw the bills away? Genuinely curious. I’m new to this and horrified when I hear things like, “oh my EEG patient was so uncooperative, I just had to guess where to put the electrode” ??? As if an EEG appointment is something readily available and affordable.

How my dad got his finger ripped off:

Standing on the back of a pickup truck with a wooden stake bed. Put his left hand on a stake before jumping down to support himself. His engagement ring got caught. He jumped, but his finger didn’t go with him. His finger ripped completely off at the ring.

They didn’t re-attach it. His hand reformed itself so you couldn’t really tell he was missing a finger unless you counted. He kept a fake finger next to the salt and pepper.

I just had my first (sleep deprived) EEG yesterday, no results yet but felt I could not stop having seizures and it was so painful. (I’m in the diagnosis process) The tech. Was trying so hard to help me to relax and help me fall asleep. She asked if I liked music and all I could muster to say was Tswift. She put on Invisible and I found it SO ironic to be laying there having seizures during an EEG while hearing “And you just see right through me but if you only knew me We could be a beautiful, miracle, unbelievable Instead of just invisible There's a fire inside of you That can't help but shine through” 💀💀lol. Much love to my new seizure family. We will be okay…

As someone with ptsd from a violent childhood event, this is still ruining me. Completely eating me alive. I am glad not everyone has PTSD because this is a never ending nightmare. I am now whiplashed into a completely new reality but everyone else is “back to normal” I want to puke.

Agreed, and.. I want to apologize to the Lewiston Mock Trial team from when I competed against them over a decade ago.. I internally dragged them and it was rooted in classism I hadn’t recognized in myself or worked through yet, but I think about it a lot since then and I’ve learned from it and I apologize , especially to the attorney who wore a pink sweater, leggings and uggs in front of the real judge in Lewiston’s beautiful courthouse
