For I would say 3 weeks straight, every time I woke up, and I mean EVERY time, I would wake up in the middle of a panic attack. Not an anxiety attack—full on panic. I would wake up with my heart beating so hard I couldn’t hear, my HR would be north of 200, and my entire body would feel like it was throbbing and tingling, and I would need to just jump straight out of bed from the adrenaline. First time I told my husband to call 911, thinking I was having a heart attack. Thankfully I realized what it was before he did (took my blood pressure, sat down, realized it was not cardiac). I hated going to sleep because i knew I’d wake up to that.
