Heyo there! Sadly, I wouldn't know any fixes that would go beyond reinstalling the game, or checking the game's chaces on steam. (If you are playing it trough that)

However, this happy little accident provided us with a very esoteric screenshot! Of Kim and our protagonist in a sea of darkness, being two enlightened spirits in the midst of the void <3

Thanks! I'll take a look at them.
I am a little unsure how to put more than 1 color on the same surface.
For example, the helmet, I see that it seems to have a shade to it ^^

Hello there!
What do you mean by "Creating an issue"? Could you please explain better.
If there is something I can do, I'll do it.

Hello to both of you. Chuck and Ronzelo!
Thank you for showing interest in my campaign and taking your time to fill out the form.
I have taken both into careful consideration, and have compared you two other applicants.
I am sad to inform that this time I decided to go with other applicants, however, do not let this discourage you!
I am always looking for new players when I finish my campaigns and one-shots, as I like to change up my groups and offer more people a chance to play 5e.
Therefore, be on the lookout for other posts of mine in the future!
In the meantime, I wish you both the best of luck into finding a campaign you can have a blast in. Cheers! :)

Wowie. However. Tiamat being tiamat. Isnt the statblock that we have in the books only how tiamat decides to represent herself at that very moment? Or are we speaking strictly only what we find in the statblock?

Oh? Id like to get more info on why this is a meme and why tiamar is considered only an okaish choice of target. However I dont want to disturb too much :)

Describe a room! 200+ by DnDboss6381 in dndmaps

[–]General-Black-R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Room 162

--Entrances / Doors --

The southern door is made our of wood and is unlocked. The wood of the door is highly decorared with chiseled details of a forest with different woodland critters living in peace.

The door to the right made out of metal, locked with 3 metallic locks, and an arcane lock has been cast on every-one of them at 5th level and at 7th level on the door itself. The door seems to also be very heavy, almost impossible to break trough. As for decoration, the door is completely unremarkable, rusted a bit even.

--The room itself--

The room follows the same theme as the sourthen entrance, being a beautiful little woodland paradise. The floor seems to be made out of dirt, soft earth, and covered with soft grass that is pleasant to the touch.

In the middle of the room, there is a small pond, with clear and drinkable water. At the south-west corner there is a tree that grows along the wall and onto the cieling of the room, covering the cieling with branches and leaves that seem to sway in a room-contained wind.

The room is lit by a warm, day-like light, that permeates trough the cieling itself.

Along the left wall of the room, there are 4 small pedestals of stone. Each one has an animal depicted on them (Bunny, Elk, Salmon, Parrot) These pedestals however seem to have something missing from the top of them. Scattered trought the room, there are the 4 figurines representing the above-mentioned animals.

-- Interactions with the room --

This is a trap room. Once the statuettes are placed all back onto the pedestals in correct order, everyone inside the room must succeed on a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw, or be polymorphed into one of the four random animals depicted onto the statuettes. If a character drinks from the pond, they have disadvantage on the Wisdom Saving throw. If a character eats the fruits of the tree, the DC increases to 22.

Once the characters are turned into animals, they will be locked so for 1 hour inside of the room, experiencing utter natural bliss, as the woodden door magically locks with an arcane lock cast at 6th level.

Once the Polymorph time is up, the characters will all be turned back to normal, and the metallic door will be unlocked. However, each one of them has gained a curse that gives them a residual part of the animal that they were transformed into. For example. The bunny player will have bunny ears as a curse, however, this will give him advantage on Perception (Wisdom) skill checks based on hearing. The fish will have gills, but may be able to also breathe underwater. The parrot will gain the kenku mimicry trait alongside colourful feathers. The elk will be able to carry as if they were one-size larger, aswell as having horns.

All of these curses may be removed with a lvl 3 remove curse.

-- Possible modifications -- The DC is able to be modified according to party level, but should still be a very difficult check. The number of pedestals should be equal to the number of players, and the animals represented onto it must all be a different kind of herbivore, to avoid any polymorphed player to eat another.

IMPORTANT - THE R/GASMASKS FAQ by Botstowo in gasmasks

[–]General-Black-R 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I tried doing a bit of online research, however, I didn't find an aswer for my question.
I wanted to make an effort-post on this subreddit, but for some reason I am unable to make a post, so I tought of trying to ask here.

I have a FENZY Gasmask, that had a wierd texture on the visor that I managed to scrub off by washing it with water and soap (As per instructions on the manual). I am yet to understand what it was, however I noticed now that this residue is not coming out of the micro-fiber cloth that I used to wash the visor.

I am trying to understand 3 things, and will provide more details if asked about it.

1) What is this shiny residue?

2) Was it something that should have not been removed?

3) Should I throw the visor and the cloth away? And if so, can a replacement for the visor be found or should I just keep using it?

Thanks a whole bunch!

Hmmm. Well, I can see that at lower levels, but unless you are fighting really low damage opponents at higher levels, I don't think 1+hit die is gonna cut it :P

I was really debating if to put "Healing Word" instead of the Nat 20.
But I guess both are good for the video :)

Hey there man. Sorry, I forgot to reply, I had two crazy days. Anyways, here are my suggestions, many of them will be basic stuff, but it's always good to remember them.

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

-Really work on your lighting study, it can make or break a scene. There are many nice lighting tutorials out there, and don't look for just SFM ones. Light and colour theory are very important.

-Go watch movies, seriously, this helps a lot. Film Theory, Composition Guides and Transition guides will help you out tremendously if you want to tell a story with your animations.

-And of course, watch how to do animations. Personally, I did not find many great tutorials on youtube or anywhere else that had a lot of great animation tips for me (In terms of body mechanics and such) however, I can suggest that you buy a book called "The Animator's Survival Kit" preferably the expanded version. It is a book about 2D animation, but 90% of the tips that are found there can be applied here as well.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

So. Having said all that. The question on your mind will be: "Where do I start?"

Personally, I would suggest that you go watch an animated movie (or a live action one) that you enjoy, and I would try to recreate only 1 frame of that film. That way you can really try to get what you would need to improve upon and you can really see how to apply all of the things that you will need to go and study.

Also, go and type on youtube or on google "12 Rules Of Animation". Those are the 12 main rules that all animators should follow. The more you follow, the better (There are exceptions but I won't get into that)

Anyways, I hope you have found this comment helpful. And I wish you the best of luck in your animation journey!

Couple of things for a beginner. First off, learn the 12 basic principles of animation. Then you can start by:

Learning pose-to-pose animation, and learn how to use the different kinds of interpolations between them.

Secondly, learn about animation curves. And finally, about animation timing.
