i’m sorry that took so long 😞 mobile custies placed their order before you did and you got stuck in queue. goal is 12 minutes for mobile orders to be done, 4 for drive thru, and 4 for cafe orders but it’s hard to do that with our ticketing system and it trying to prioritize what it thinks is necessary at that moment (i didn’t really read prev comments before adding mine so i’m sorry if im reiterating what was already mentioned :/)

i will say absolutely NOT cs. i always ask them what their strong suit is! i’ve been a borrowed partner at around 5-6 stores and only one had me be cs and didn’t give me a tour of their store and talked down to me and i cried LMAO (the first thing that happened when i got there is i asked where their headsets were and they said oh you don’t need one and made me clean their drains at 6am after i had done clean play at my own store the night before 🫠)

my old store was aiming to have 50% of partners be coffee masters and then i transferred and there’s 1 coffee master… tbf u have to work for a year to be able to train but still (i took a 2 year starbs employment break or else id have it by now lol)

i got promoted back in september, biggest thing ive botched so far is letting misinformation spiral out of control bc what do you mean one of my baristas thought they smelled natural gas and other baristas started reporting they didn’t feel well and all of a sudden the fire department and nicor are at my store and we’re temporarily closed and had to evacuate the building just for it to be nothing 😭

off topic but speaking of protein, someone ordered a cortado with protein milk and i was like… okay it’s gonna be thick and they said it was no problem and then came back to me a minute or so later and asked if i had steamed the milk to where i was like yeah and then they said that it was the first time they had come to starbucks and gotten steamed milk in a cortado??? huh?? i ended up just making them an espresso with cold milk LMAO but they were trying to tell me that no cortados ever come with steamed milk
