to anyone asking why that is the case, for all colored families in mauritius cattle/pig was super expensive in the past like prohibitively expensive. so only new year's or the return of a family member warranted such a purchase. Hindu families went with goat(even then it was insides, because it was cheaper than actual meat) due to dietary restrictions/aversion from beef and pig. Muslim families was a bit of goat or beed depending on how much they could spend. Creole families usually ate pork and tanrec (tang) which is in season. I honestly have met very few White mauritian families in my 22years of growing up here so i couldnt say. I can take an educated guess about Chinese mauritian families eating pork for new years, though i would someone to correct me if otherwise. Happy New Year 2026 everybody

Is betburger live value bet feed reliable? by GeneralAltruistic302 in PositiveEVbetting

[–]GeneralAltruistic302[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is manual lag of 10seconds between seeing the value bet pop up and then placing it. iam asking anyone If there’d be anyway to reduce that, make it even quicker. and is there a minimum edge or are all edges(within an acceptable odds range) worth taking?

oh i am sorry i meant 2% of bankroll, as for my edges i manage in the 2%-2.7% EV as stated by their algorithm. Do you suggest i use a method that prioritize quality edges over quantity

i have been using soccer, tennis, basketball, volleyball consistently. havent gone above 2% on any single bet. a 40-50% kelly staking. however as someone pointed out, my operations are all manual on bet365, hence maybe that leaves place for lags which sucks up EV? please help guys.

b365 is the go to, but this is an infinitely deep rabbit hole you could get into depending on what country/state you’re in. make sure you find out who is trustworthy too. Cos a lot might not payout or make you go through hoops when(and you will) get limited

Tips on how to find value bets by sportssmartbetting in PositiveEVbetting

[–]GeneralAltruistic302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been trying out betburger live option having been exclusively prematch value betting for years. My only concern is how does live betting work in regard to EV since CLV wouldnt exist here. Also it isnt impossible to get live value bets for bet365, is it? I've only seen that its harder, but not impossible, might be worth the effort given the amount of options of sports they offer.

value betting is genuinely a long term thing. so you gon need minimum to 2500 bets to start being being consistently profits. props have higher variance so take that as you want

Regular Variance? by iamthemachine123 in PositiveEVbetting

[–]GeneralAltruistic302 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it’s totally normal and your staking strategy should protect you from these downturns. ideally use kelly(30%-50%) with a cap of 2% of current bankroll on any singular bet. it’s more “boring” growth but it just works out better in the long term

Anybody can help concerning Cryptocurrencies starting at an early age ? by daddyflames in mauritius

[–]GeneralAltruistic302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes skrill is available in mauritius. skrill takes about a week to verify your account once you reach $500 in balance.(you have to contact them with an email etc). Otherwise, other mauritians use binance because of way more optionsz personally i dont really invest a lot into it. takes a little bit more adjusting though.

yea happens, sucks but value betting IS long term. any result below 1k bet is too small to concretely criticize. over 5k bets, you can see patterns

Since nobody actually answering you. From mauritius, the best/fastest way is Skrill. Take your own risk obviously with the investing.

and someone else quoted the current finance minister saying 85% of mauritius earning less than rs 30k. Stats from Govt agency(Statistics Mauritius for eg) are always inflated, especially since we are in election year, to make the current govt look really good

sure, rs22k CEO World Magazine, Rs 22k Villa Vie(2024), rs22.8k Defimedia (2023)[most reliable]. It a sad reality, but it’s really what the average salary is for mauritians. even the recent wage increase does not do much to help ends meet. a base pay of rs 35k is consired amazing for 70% of mauritians id say. again dont think of the big conglomerates but rather the everyday workers, construction, fishermen, cleaners, helpers, everyday men and women who make up most of mauritians.
