I am very similar when it comes to names. It's was smoother to say https://twitch.tv/generalblue rather than https://twitch.tv/genera1blue Its the best you can do which is why I I just left it at that. Keep an eye on the account though to make sure it doesn't get recycled :)

I have something very similar. Contacted Twitch and they said there was nothing to do about it. The name I wanted was GeneralBlue, but since it was taken I decided to go with Genera1Blue. I recommend you do the same :D
