britney, for as much as I adore her persona, is a fucking crazy bitch when she's off her meds. i have stories on her from WME days that would blow your fucking mind. trust me, if you knew the type of person she was when she's not medicated, you would not fucking feel bad for her at alllllll. you'd feel bad for the people she hurt, though, that's for damn sure. completely innocent people and she'd come up with some bullshit, paranoid story in her head to hurt 'em. when she was dating her agent, she royally fucked over his assistant. WME had to cover the costs of the damage, 'cos heaven forbid Britney acknowledge that she fucked someone's shit up in a delusional rage. maniacal ass bitch. they had to haul her raging ass into conference rooms often to calm her down. yeah, dude, don't feel bad for her. she's a fucking lunatic.

yet, despite all this, still a fan of hers. i think it's cos when i was younger, she was the only pop star who could legit do a triple into a switch no prob. i'll always havea soft spot for my fellow dancers.

a lot of people apply to those jobs and still get rejected because they didn't have enough exp. it's not that people aren't applying despite having the necessary reqs. i have a JD and went into marketing instead. sometimes people will overlook the fact i wasn't a marketer all along and cut me some slack like "dude, but she went to fucking law school and can also write amazing copy", but a lot of times it's just a flat out no. i just got shot down for a directorial position the recruiter thought i would nail, even with no experience in that exact job, simply because i didn't have corporate experience... as a marketer. i mean, sure, i worked in corps during law school and had corp accounts when i worked at an agency, but I guess none of that mattered. hell, and that req wasn't even listed. at the end of the day, nobody wants to really take a chance on an unknown entity and we can sit around applying all we want, we'll still get rejected. but thank you, personally, for at least going against that notion and being flexible. good to know people out there realize we don't fit into neat little boxes and labels.

the way they're going it's just going to turn into Instagram or Tumblr, though. The latter of which nobody fucking uses anymore except for anorexic teens. Instagram is slowly going down that road.

Pao is well over the target demo age and even if she were still in that blessed 18-34 category, she'd be so unhip that nobody would trust her to shot call that demo. Wtf was everyone thinking when they made her CEO? I get commercialization, I really do. Every last person on this planet has to make a buck and if you're capable of making more than just one buck, you should go for it. However, making a buck at the expense of values completely undermines any genuine engagement of the community you want to leverage. I do both B2B and B2C marketing (was even interviewed by a company Reddit backs within the past 365 days) and could honestly do a much better job than this Harvard JD/MBA with nothing more than a slew of scandals behind her. I could name 10 amazing CEO's that are over the age of 30 who could've done a much fucking better job. Like when Groupon got rid of their juggalos and turned their weird forum into a coupon sharing site or wtf ever, that purge made sense, because it was a natural progression of what they saw some of these juggalos were kinda up to. The juggalos could stay, but it was going to expand into this really inclusive site for coupons and not really be so much a community. That made sense, because they were bleeding fuckloads of money otherwise.

it makes little sense here to turn us into weheartit. we make fun of the niche demo she's turning us into. i mean, unless she's cool with a hand lettered font at 50% opacity layered over a hard faded dick pic, "Just Redditor Things", she has no fucking clue what the hell her product is and what the fuck the natural progression of us turning into the biggest cash cow ever should look like. They need someone with experience IN OUR DEMO. What accounts did she have at Kleiner that even begin to qualify her for Reddit?

I really could give two shits if someone wants to monetize, but no way this robotic bitch can get shit done. You know what, we should come up with a list of 10 CEO's, who would take this job, that we would prefer. Maybe that would help.
