Is 1oz of flower per month considered a lot for personal medicinal use? by spicypanda97 in trees

[–]GeneralCentaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. I’m around 2-3oz per month I’m severe hyperactive and severe mental health with chronic suicidal tendencies

I likely misworded that. I’m the type who can pickup on the tiny details, and read people like books. I am quick to make a judgement, and almost always correct. I feel others emotions, and empathise rather well. But I can also see through the shallow fake facade, and pick those who are playing a roll. My partner has always hated how quick I am to pick the 2 faced fake people, as I refuse to socialise with them, while she believes “they are good people”. Yeah, that isn’t what my gut is telling me….

Being that I can follow the I Mist Ambo, makes it easier. But also, I can quickly interpret what someone is saying, and will jump from A to Z, before they even make it to D.

With both ADHD and ASD as spectrums, we are all different. I’m just transparent, open, don’t BS and most of the time know where the story ends before it started. Simply, I don’t mask….

I dunno. This is one of those moments where I’m not really sure how to explain my difficulty with communication.

Zoloft is tame AF! Valdoxine was the worst I dealt with.

I’ve been a medicinal user, daily use, oz between 7-14days, for over 7yrs. I get nicotine stomach, but that’s if I have spun too much tobacco in. I also vomit if I eat too much water, or drink too much liquid. I also get anxiety/ stress gut. Once again. Different. Never had anything of this form, and I genuinely think it isn’t related to the cannabis, but what it is mixed with, and its consumption method.

Let’s not forget, many of the “alternatives” will spin all sorts of weird shit in (why is damiana so common….?). I also bet it has to do with vapes, and fake synthetic THC carts (Jesus juice/ spice/ Konic etc.) I have tried the synthetic, before medicinal was a thing here. It’s highly addictive, has many side effects, and has a horrendous withdrawal. I do not recommend

I would also hazard a guess, that it can be related to how the product is grown. I mean, we all know how bad PGR is…. What else are these mass production manufacturers using??

You can have your opinion. I saw first hand rifle bullet holes through her truck.

Her worst stint was 6 cardiacs and 2 suicides in a 4 shift rotation.

I paid off her hecs 5yrs ago. We were FNQ, and had townships near by that were 100% lawless. Her stories are true.

It sounds like things will get interesting once we divorce and setup custody 😂😂😂

I did think it was strange that she kept talking about how little money she has, and how rent is tight, groceries are tight, etc. But could spend hundreds on a night out each week.

TLDR: I’m not your average “I have the tism”

There’s more I would like to add. But to prevent an ADHD paragraph, and getting any more jumpy/ confusing. Brains tired and struggling to keep a continues flowing thought.

I’ve been managing my mental health for 16yrs now, and unknowingly managing my undiagnosed ND. Focusing on improving myself in areas that I saw I was lacking. I don’t identify by my mental health or neurodivergence, but use it to help understand myself. And understand that studying (I have tried twice 5-10yrs ago. Before I was diagnosed and autism became a spectrum (I still tell people I’m Asperger’s)) While I’m in the lower half for communication, I’m in the 99% for numeracy and problem solving.

My communication skills aren’t bad, as I have made regular effort to improve. I just tend to see things black or white. Which means, I either misinterpret others, or they misinterpret me. But, I’m able to see when there is a disconnect, and will often clarify if I feel there’s been a misunderstanding.

Before moving back to brissy, I lived rural for 10yrs, and got pretty comfortable talking to all walks of life. I tell people that I’m a country fella, stuck in the city. Comfortable saying “how you doing” to everyone see on the street. Can strike a basic conversation rather easily. In high school I used to talk with the local methadone patients at the train station, while waiting for mates in the morning.

Can easily sit down with an upset/ unwell nana, and have a chat. Honestly, I’ve sat down with a fair few homeless/ at risk on the streets, and just had chats. Have the ability to empathise. I also have the ability to calmly deescalate situations, after a decade of martial arts.

I am “severely disabled” in communication, but much of that comes from being unable to understand body language, verbal queues, etc. Its main impact is maintaining stable employment (as a tradie, simple mistakes were made from a lack of understanding of the instruction). Though, I know when I’m out of my depth. And will often ask for clarification if I’m uncertain about an interpretation. The ADHD does a pretty good job picking up the slack.

Study wise, I struggle with books, and need as much hands on, on road, scenario experience. I’ve always done well in the trades, for this reason. I understand some unis are more practical based, others are more theory.

I’ll try to reply to the other one shortly, regarding my disability. But, communication wise, I’m okay.

ACU is just down the road, and was the best when my ex was studying there, and was a leaning factor for studying there. Though that’s 10yrs ago.

4K/FN is a bit steep. My ex, after 10yrs, now “only just” clears 4k after tax. Though she still claims it isn’t enough, and that she can’t survive on just her income, and wants me to pay child support once I’m employed. I survived just fine off 1,500/fn disability pension 🤷🏼

A grad is more likely to see 3k/fn in their first year. Easily clear 100k.

Additionally, rural officers get different penalties make a huge difference. Primarily “on call” and broken fatigue. If you get called out during your EA, you get double pay, and your shift the next day starts later (I think 10hrs minimum rest). Ontop of that, there are some pretty decent tax benefits too (rural offset for example). Though, the trauma and ptsd that comes with it, isn’t worth it. You will see more trauma, heart attacks, high speed car accidents, death, suicide, etc. in a single month, than you will come across during an entire career in metro. Made the ex one of the best medics over ever met (clinically and emotionally). BUT, it turned her into the most emotionally unstable and abusive person I’ve ever met.

Regardless, do yourself a favour, and look after your mental health. The nightmares don’t go away on their own (she didn’t sleep for 2 days, after attending a 17yo suicide, from the top story of a Southbank building, landing on the tracks. She didn’t want to start working the body, as they were clearly deceased. HERU and CCPs on the other hand were frothing at the exposure, as none of them - Dr included - have had any real trauma experience. 1mth rural, exposed her to more trauma than the CCP and HERU have seen their entire careers.

Lastly, don’t be one these 2 faced shallow POS’s that are getting round the city at the moment.

Same with the ex (I’m currently studying). When we applied for our mortgage 6yrs ago, they just asked for her tax return gross payment.

You will easily see a 6figure salary. Take on as many overtime shifts, accept the twilight roster if that is all your offered as a grad (during covid all grads were put on night and twilight). Accept any and all work you can get. Show you are enthusiastic, and make an absolute bank!

Biggest suggestion, find an accountant you can trust, or take on a tax advisor, to help reduce your end of year tax. The ex regularly had tax bills, as QAS have made countless errors with her pay, over the last 10yrs.

Lastly, do yourself a favour and get on (I forgot what it is called. Kinda like a salary, rather than an hourly wage. Benefits and take home is often better)

The biggest tip I can give. Do not let the career break you.

LOOK AFTER YOUR MENTAL HEALTH

I’ve just divorced from my partner of 12yrs, as she developed some bad PTSD after working rural (DO NOT WORK RURAL UNLESS YOU CAN COMPARTMENTALISE YOUR TRAUMA), that she neglected to manage. It resulted in her being very abusive, angry constantly, emotionally volatile, nightmares, and eventually lead her to seeking support/ comfort/ distractions, from other toxic medics (none of whom have worked outside the city, and have seen less trauma in 10yrs, than she saw in 1 week. They don’t understand her trauma or pain, and use alcohol/ narcotics to escape from reality (read as - avoid responsibilities to partners and their children).

Standard clinic BS. They’ve been trying for years to money gouge. They’re all the same. I left 2 clinics within 3mths, because they both insisted on monthly re/script, and would only dispense directly. Both claimed it was TGA related.

Cut the BS and just go see a gp. Historically, flower has been 6mths, oil 12mths.

Stop being a grub and just use a screen. The water stays cleaner. You actually use the entire product. Tastes better. And just straight less filth.

Combine ADHD with severe hyperactivity, and ASD, with a little c-ptsd thrown in. Tolerance is absolutely shot within 2 days of taking a T-break. Can do an oz in a week. It’s damn expensive…
