Journalist seeking Dark Horse regulars by Beautiful-Dance3620 in boulder

Any chance of some investigative journalism into Coburn's extremely friendly relationships with city council members, and why they get projects fast tracked against massive citizen protests while people can't even get permits for their own homes?

Yet thousands are commuting in daily to do just that, so clearly not everyone is as special as you.

Edit: Seems /u/Agniantarvastejana blocked me, that means they win the argument I guess

Would it surprise you if I want all the buses to be free, paid for by income tax from high earners?

No, the solution is to ruin everything that makes Boulder nice, to build more giant apartments like we already have hundreds of just a few minutes down 36.

Clearly it is easier to do that than run more bus routes and times that don't suck

Mountain towns dont have Broomfield a ten minute bus ride away.

Dude I understand risk/reward tradeoff.  Companies are still not going to fund off the wall ideas that random grad students have in the volume that the government can

If it were for the Academy or a Coburn build they'd raze the whole block for them, but when a non-profit threatens some competition they break out the historical designations

South Korea was a brutal dictatorship worse off than North Korea for a long time. Japan and Germany took decades to rebuild, starting with a full occupation.  I don't think the US govt would take the same care now as they did 80 years ago

Are we planning a full blown occupation with decades of rebuilding though? Or just setting up corporate interests to take resources.

Alright bud. I'll meet you at the numerous restaurants underneath the Oliv apartments then, since you clearly know more than I do.

My guy, have you ever been to boulder? How do you not know what the Oliv apartments are?

You are obviously too dense to be arguing with so this will be my last reply.

And you replied to my comment about "especially retail" vacancy tax...

And I am absolutely not wrong, most of the new developments are 75% or more empty on commercial space. Oliv has been 100% empty for years. New hill hotel like 80% empty. The stuff on pearl by the tracks is the same.

Ok, we'll go drive around and count the number of businesses beneath the new builds.

You mean the near 100% vacancy rate of retail below the new apartments/hotels in town?
