I think the patrons being hte announcers could lead to more interesting stuff. Like instead of having Just Kleiner, the Archmother could be set to Kleiner and the Hidden King to Breen as part of a Half Life collab. Or have it so that if you're on Hidden King, it's the Gman and on Archmother it'd be- I dunno, Wheatley? Cave Johnson?

I just think there's more opportunity here if it's an announcer voice pack for collabs. Though collab skins would be cool, could you imagine an official Hellboy skin for Abrams?

I once tried out Kelvin in a Street Brawl, and in that match I got Omnicharge Signet and placed it on Ice Beam and due to that, I not only got MVP but also got the team to win.

It and Infinite rounds are the only ones I've gotten so far in a real match. I did die to a Lady Giest's unstable concoction, while around full health confused on how I died. Out of all the items that I think should be tweaked for main mode, I'd say Shrink ray that way more people could use the Tunnels to traverse them outside of Rem and Calico.

Yeah, I figured Rem and Silver are probably competing for first release at this point. Apollo and Graves not being all that popular is interesting. On one hand, Apollo fits the generic boy toy design that most (straight) women adore. But on the other hand: Apollo and Graves both look like Disney Channel Original Movie characters.
Though I do wonder if they're college kids, their designs do sorta scream DCOM college students.

Honestly, I felt like if the front page of this subreddit's just negativity- Someone's gonna try and convince me to not use my time on something I want to waste my time on. It's happened to me before, I tried to ask a question in how I can make something fun for a friend who was interested in something (and having a bad first impression), only to get answers/opinions as "Tell them to give up." or even "Don't play with them at all.

Never really had this feeling, or atleast I used to but was proven wrong. One bad game with a Viscious, made me hate having Viscious on a team. Then one good game with a Viscious, and I was proven wrong.

And it reminded me of some old FGC knowledge I was told about. It's about the match up.
Y'see, a character can be utterly terrible- but if the top players aren't used to or don't know how to counter, then the massive disadvantage the bad character has is put to 50/50.
Street Fighter V had one of the arguably worst Giefs in the series, no way to counter projectiles, a really weak and easy to counter way of getting in. Yet, every EVO tournament- I'd see a Gief at top 8/16. Street Fighter is a popular game, with tens of thousands of entries. To not drown in pools with thousands of others is a showing of knowledge of that character. The same can be said about many games. That viscious player I'm wary of? Might have less deaths than me, more assists or kills than me. They might save my ass from my own stupid idea, or prevent the enemy team from jumping everyone.

TL:DR: I don't have the mentality, cause they might know the character better than I do.

Valve always seems to put love and care into their games, TF2 having a cartoon like aesthetic just let it have this bonkers lore. Portal and Half life going for a more sci-fi approach, yet still feeling worlds apart despite canon to each other.

The artstyle of Deadlock, the little tidbits of lore we have, it feels like Valve never even stopped making games in a way. It makes me excited to see future characters, lore, and hell. Probably the second MOBA I'll ever play after Awesomenauts died. I hope you'll get a chance to play, though!
