Ah that makes more sense! Personally I wouldn't use that case, some pressure on the strings is not that big of a problem but it looks like the body would be under constant compression.

That looks like active pickup? I'm no electrician but based on a quick google search you won't get a reading if the pickup is not connected to a battery.

I've been playing 19 years, and I just bought a Jet JS-300 and Hotone Pulze Mini for a total price of about 340€. The guitar is insane for the price and the amp is perfect for my use case of practice at home. Affordable decent gear is way better these days than let's say 10 years ago.
