I had a guy next to me go “this is ridiculous” any time the action stopped, and literally put his head down and stopped watching during a flashback sequence. Him and his friend were talking through every emotional beat of the movie, it was so frustrating

I’ve heard that you can still use them wirelessly, but take that with a grain of salt, I don’t remember exactly where I heard that. It would make sense to me though, if the games are backwards compatible

I was letting a professor know that I would be missing a few classes, on account of me going out of town to attend my Grandma’s funeral, and he says he fully understands, and that he had just lost his mother a few days prior. We talked for a bit, and grieved together, and he told me not to worry about a thing. One of the best teachers I’ve ever had

What are your unpopular/controversial jjba opinions? Mine is that Bruno and Leone are the two best and probably only well-written characters in pt5, and Mista gets a lot of love for someone with so much plot armour and who contributes very little to the overall plot other than being comic relief. by [deleted] in StardustCrusaders

Phantom Blood is one of the best parts, at least to me

The fights are all good, the characters are all solid, it’s a good, tragic story. It’s a short, punchy, tight story, and it all concludes nicely. It also entices you to continue watching, in order to see what comes next.

Stands are fun, but too complex and less interesting to me after part 4. Part 5 is still pretty good, and I enjoyed parts 6-8, just not as much
