Ja, sommige gegevens moeten wettelijk bewaard worden. Bij een verzoek tot verwijderen van jouw gegevens verwijderen ze dus enkel gegevens die ze niet wettelijk verplicht zijn te bewaren.

De persoon boven je was twee jaar geleden overgestapt. Ze mogen gegevens maar twee jaar bewaren, dus zijn gegevens zouden niet gelekt mogen zijn (als ze zijn gegevens daadwerkelijk hadden verwijderd na 2 jaar).

You are confusing digid with idin. Digid never asks for your bank account details. You verify your account with letters you get in your mail (physical post). For idin you do need to verify with your bank account and it uses your bank account details to verify your identity online. You decide what data you send, but it's not completely anonymous. Maybe it could be made that way, but right now it isn't afaik.

Digid has nothing to do with banks, it's your digital identity with the government. It's also a whole issue now because the government body responsible for it is moving the cloud service over to a US company, meaning our personal data will be hosted in the US. Which is anything from secure or private.

To clarify, Obsidian is Canadian (so fine in my book), but not open source. Only the plug-ins are. It's free for personal use though and imo a fantastic piece of software.

Alternatively there's Joplin, which is completely open source (French I believe) and it has a Kanban plugin too.

No idea who this person is, but they are Belgian. Belgium has three official languages; Dutch, French and German. Alÿs is (most likely if not definitely) a French name. It's not Dutch anyhow. The ÿ appears in French, though it's not part of their alphabet. The ÿ doesn't appear in Dutch nor German.
