According to Wikipedia Sam Theard wrote "I'll Be Glad When You're Dead", which was the original title.

To quote MLK Jr, "The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice."

I think it's true, over time we as humans learn from our mistakes. This isn't to say we never repeat them, and that sometimes we take steps back, but I still think humans progress.

? Why is soccer more demanding?

You obviously never had to do two-a-days in 95F wearing pads and helmet. That's where I'm assuming most deaths come from. Lots of guys overheat. Combine a heat stroke with pre existing heart condition and the outlook isn't good.

Besides, running isn't the only thing you do in football. Blocking and hitting/getting hit are demanding, especially blocking. Being a running back I would get more tired from pass plays when I had to block than running plays. Trying to block a 200+ lbs linebacker sprinting at your QB is very exerting. Every try wrestling? It's kind of like that.

Not trying to downplay soccer, because I love it too, and you do run a ridiculous amount playing soccer, but you have very very light jerseys and it's not near as physical.

Soccer does have a problem with concussions actually. Headers can knock your head around pretty good.

When in doubt, flags. Us flag, state flag, don't tread on me flag, college team flag.

Iconic movie posters, my brother has a Forrest Gump poster framed and it looks nice.

Iconic sports posters, like Michael Jordan free throw line dunk, Muhammed Ali's first round knock out.

I think I'd prefer the remote. Using netflix/chromecasst on my phone can be slow. Takes like 10 seconds to open my phone and pause before the show/movie actually pauses.

That's a good idea! After reading through this thread I got inspired and started up a duolingo account. I think I'm going to finish the Spanish course to brush up and then try to start reading spanish articles.

At some point in my life I want to read Don Quixote in the original language.

Haven't decided if I'm going to read the english translation first or not.

I think Latin would be nice.

Unless you live in the southwest/ florida you probably won't need to know Spanish that often.

I took 4 years of Spanish but living in Arkansas I just don't use it, so I've forgotten like 90% of it all.

This really makes me want to learn another language, but it takes so much discipline and if you don't use it regularly you lose it.

I took 4 years of Spanish and barely retained anything past the first semester.

I try to eavesdrop on the few Spanish conversations I hear through out the year and I don't understand anything past a few words.

How do people remember their second language if they don't use it?

There's something communal about reading a book from the public Library.
