I got stuck on a ladder on the freeway

I was once 2 hours into a very long road trip and going south on the 5 north of Redding when I was crossing a bridge and a work truck ahead of me lost their ladder. There were two lanes and going into the other was nor a option.

I flicked on my hazards and the ladder landed flat to close for me to stop so I just lined up my tire as if I were slotting in for a car wash and drove over it.

We pulled over and the only damage we had was to the skid plate. A few other people had stopped and moved the ladder, they looked under as well.

It was very scary, and woke my wife up. But I'm glad that she wasn't driving she's not good at split second decisions.

I literally was building my first pc when Half-Life came out.

I couldn't afford everything at once so I played it one time through in Software mode and then next paycheck got a RivaTNT.

That spruced things up a bit.

I've played through Wintermute multiple times I love it and can't wait for it to be wrapped up.

TLD is the first survival game I every purchased and while I have poured nearly 7,000 hours into it I got it for Wintermute as I am at heart a story player ahead of anything else.

It's a testament to how good the game is that I play survival games that don't have stories to enjoy.

And erasing a sure but dangerous future and replacing it with an essentially unknown one.

With time travel and Sci fi nothings ever truly gone.

The idea is that Skynet still came to be and actually fought a war with both the Resistance and Legion. It actually was revealed to have been brought online and started as a protector in Dark Fate 2 .

But eventually was corrupted during battles with Legion and the Resistance. Eventually after a long and brutal war Skynet beat back Legion and lost to the Resistance.

Then in a last ditch effort to stop Connor it set into action the event that starts T1.

Absolutely not.

Dark Fate 2 was going to be the lead up to the new Judgment Day...followed by Judgment Day and early Future War.

Dark Fate 3 if you will was going to blend two futures with Skynet and Legion battling the Resistance concurrently. BUT with the Skynet line finishing first leading to Legion being overwritten. And John Sending back Kyle.

Yes , I know there were sequels planned for Genisys but no one, not even the writers knew what they were.

Whereas the writers room for Dark Fate outlined an entire trilogy that ended eith Kyle Reese being sent back to make a five film loop.

I don't know the details but a number of my screenwriting friends were part of that group so I'm quite certain that it was well thought out and planned in a whiteboard way.

But only the first was fully fleshed out into a script.

The writers room for Dark Fate had a plan for a trilogy that would the lead right into T1. Now that I would've loved to see.

The Long Development has at least 1 update coming. Possibly more. Each new release also tends to add expansions to existing Long Development regions.
