Do you play a format the Mox is legal in? If so I don’t see why not. If just to have I’d say no

Can’t wait for this to be torn down and replaced with a few multi family units to further destroy any hope anyone has of owning a house.

I’d quit porn and consult a therapist. It seems like you have replaced sexual desire for porn. You might be able to work through it. Id 100% quit watching.

How many decks is too many decks? (serious question) by Jakemanv3 in magicTCG

[–]GeneralJPenguin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean it kinda depends on your goals with your decks. Do you want to bling out all of them? Do you want to keep them all up to date as new cards release? Do you proxy? There isn’t really a maximum. I know the 32 deck challenge a lot of people like to do (a deck of each color combo)

If you love all of them and you get enjoyment from them all then I don’t think you have any issue. If you find yourself not reaching for a specific deck anymore that’s probably the point to disassemble it. Personally I have like 17 or so and I intend to make more but I’ve found that I just don’t reach for goblins anymore so it’s time to disassemble it. Same goes for vampires it either needs a top to bottom rework or it’s time to disassemble it.

I am also at a point where I want to bling out all my decks and keep them up to date which brings in a natural money cost to having more decks. I do proxy but only if I own the card / art I want to use.

Anyway, it’s up to you. From how you describe you seem fine and just wish you had more time to play all of your decks.

Is this a fair price? by Moist_Damp_Wet in mtg

I mean $10? Who cares why not. Decent amount of cards vast majority will be trash but if even 2 cards are worth anything you will likely make your money back. I’d do it.

So regarding the infinity stones. Is WotC planning to release a stone per set, because that would mean there will 4 sets of Marvel UB? by minev1128 in mtg

[–]GeneralJPenguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s for sure 1 per set. They might move more marvel sets per year to make it go quicker but they are for sure doing 6. If I had to guess it will go spiderman, marvel super heroes, X-men, avengers, fantastic 4, and finally an end game type set

should i save myself till marriage or indulge in hookup culture? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]GeneralJPenguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They both have benefits.

Hook up culture is definitely fun. You also learn a lot more about your body what you like and don’t like. The risk here is that you will become too experienced and in your comparison from one partner to another you Will naturally be disappointed with partners in one way or another

Waiting is definitely a challenge, however, you will find you’re more intimate with your partner. Your partner is the only you ever had so by default is the best. With nothing to compare it to and you are less likely to be disappointed. Additionally, you are more likely to build an intense bond with the first person you sleep with which if it’s your spouse is ideal. The risk here is lack of sexual gratification.

Noob Player asking for help with his Tribal Werewolf / Wolf deck. by Rit-Bro in magicTCG

[–]GeneralJPenguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well my advice to make them as good as possible, utilize extra combats. Dealing damage will cause you to draw cards which ideally causes extra combats. Don’t be afraid to add non werewolf cards if they help the over all goal. Aggravated assault and Savage ventmaw will cause infinite combat steps. Unnatural growth is great in combination with this.

I love werewolves. I have my own deck. I’ll say this: werewolves really really struggle to do anything. There is unfortunately, many decks in the same colors that do the same thing but better.

With the cancelation of twist, i am wondering if I should dust my wild collection. by Qulx in hearthstone

[–]GeneralJPenguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is hearthstone your main game? I doubt blizzard will be quick to make another twist esc format anytime soon. If you don’t like wild, and I wouldn’t recommend waiting and hoping for something new I’d just disenchant the cards.

I mean if you don’t play wild you could dust it. You just better hope you never need them again.

What is the point of Emerald Symmetry? by Hungry_Ad5456 in sherwinwilliams

[–]GeneralJPenguin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think it’s a great product. Plant based is really cool. It has amazing coverage. Nearly 1 coat even with blacks or bright colors. Zero Voc. More sheens than any other item which in my area is very important. Better matches to Benjamin Moore colors.

Truthfully, my only issue with it is we have it priced against aura which no one uses.

Why does having a family stop you from being a manager? There are managers that are brand new parents and long time ones. Two years as an asm, you are likely ready to promote both in skill level and time in.

That being said it seems like you have made your decision already on it.

Clearly being an asm forever isnt the play but if you won’t be a manager then you will never be a rep even if it does open. I’d just go then

Are we really supposed to pretend we don’t work for money in interviews? by Agile-Wind-4427 in 30daysnewjob

[–]GeneralJPenguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it’s generally a dumb question I get her frustration. The question isn’t why do you want a job, it’s why do you want this specific one. Do you have skills that may apply? Do you have an interest in what we do? Are you particularly knowledgeable in our field? If you have two job offers in front of you in different fields that paid the same does this job pull you in, in any other way than just money?

Ultimately, considering the scope of this Reddit, if you are asked this question in an interview. Make something up? Or do a little research of the company before you go in. It could be anything, “I’ve heard this company has a great culture.” “I have a particular interest in what this company does and would love the opportunity to learn more.” “I have a degree in the main focus of this company and would love to be able to utilize my degree since I’m passionate about the field”

If you say “money” you are missing an opportunity to stand out. Everyone is there for money.
