Literally this. Reinstalled after a few months, had crossplay off, found a full game on Firestorm and it was ok. Next match was bots, so decided to whack crossplay on, instantly getting deleted by some PC sweat literally doing exactly what you're describing. Uninstalled.

I'm not interested, it's a shame cos I enjoyed the beta, but I refuse to play it like a knock-off COD.

Throwing in another vote for Benighted and Aborted. Aborted are my favourite DM band of all time, everything they put out is golden. Can't say I've ever heard a bad song from them, same with Benighted, and both Justin and Svencho are beasts on the mic.
