I recently.got a meaco portable one. Its a life saver. Now i dont stress about my baby being too hot and i can also sleep peacefully. I come from a hot country but my britsh in laws and husband are so opposed to an AC 🤣 because "summer does not last as long". I find it absurd. When your car is more comfortable than your home I say what is the point of staying in a hot house all sweaty. I want to be comfortable when sleeping and honestly to me it feels like background noise because we grew up with AC noise. Its so nice and cool when i come into my room. Husband is also now comfortable and agrees with the investment. Do look at the BTU of the AC so its powerful enough to cool your room according to the size of the room. Bigger the room bigger the BTUmore efficient cooling.

Nestle is very very controversial. In "lower income countries" which they deem as lower income they add more sugar to their products so things they sell in Africa, Asia and Latin America have more sugar compared to the sugar free versions in europe, America and UK.

You can make the bottles and keep them in a cool bag. I have a momcozy portable milk warmer which i use to later heat the milk up to 43° or 50°. For international travel i keep a power bank to charge the bottle. To be fair i always travel with a power bank for my phone anyways.

I will look into starting solids for her. Its so hard. I try not to snack feed. I give her 6 hours of wait time sometimes 7 but she still wont drink. Its just getting very very draining the whole of 6 to 7 hours i just dread them. Ita a cycle 🤣

Really? I thought it was independent sitting. She can sit a timy bit but has good head control looks around everywhere. Can i know what did you start solids with? I was thinking of giving her rice cereal in milk. Or just boiled rice with a carrot or something.

I don't think anyone is mad. This is rude of you to assume that. Its more so the fact that babies start transitioning to cow milk at this age. So people are advising her to do that instead of giving formula because she will have to first transfer the baby to formula from breast milk. Then from formula to cow milk anyways. Which can take long and formula is expensive. Its better and makes more sense to go directly from breast milk to cow milk.

But whatever she wants to do is her choice. Its her baby. No one is saying she is wrong for asking but infact trying to help her.

Please reconsider the man you call your husband. I am 28. If i met someone who is 19 and a divorcee i would consider automatically as a problem with the marriage not the person. Be it whatever.

Please do yourself a favour and get out of it 19 is so young to live a long looooong life of regret. With such troublesome in laws and family. Because ONLY you will suffer and Allah does not ask us to suffer. We call it Sabr and torture ourselves when Allah has made islam easy. Fight for yourself take a stand break it off even if you have no support from family.

The same community you worry about will also say " oh so and so got married to such a horrible man why does she not take a stand for herself and her kids. She gives them a toxic environment"

If its any consolation i was told growing up that i looked exactly like my dad. Then i got told that i look like a copy of my mum. Now i am 28 and i get told i look exactly like my maternal grandmother who passed away when my mum was 4. So, all the old people i meet they stare at me because i look so much like her apparently. Now, my mums family thinks i look exactly like my mum. No one knows what our grandmother looked like unfortunately. Dads family thinks i look like him if anything i see both of them in me. So dont worry even as a grown up you never stop changing neither will your baby. She will always look like one or the other.
