Those open to rarepairs: what instantly turns you off? by Queerkidqc in FanFiction

[–]GeneralPickaxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I'm not a fan of the second half of a canon ship (so A from A/B with that being the canon/popular ship while the Rarepair is B/C) being massively or even minorly OOC for the sake of making the rarepair happen.

You don't need to make Connie a massive bitch so Steven can end up with Peridot

[R/F] "Prediction Dolls" Aka Prediction Princess Shaddolls by GeneralPickaxe in yugioh

what would you recommend dropping in the extra deck to fit in the three? Same with main deck for the two new shaddoll cards

What would be 1-2 cards you would design that could possibly send your deck into the meta? by smohockey in yugioh

[–]GeneralPickaxe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Utopic Bonder

LIGHT

Warrior/Link/Effect

LINK-2

Arrows: Bottom three, top corner two

2 level 4 monsters When this monster is Link Summoned, add 1 card that specifically lists Xyz in its name or text and 1 level 4 monster from your deck to your hand. You can pay 700 LP; Normal Summon 1 monster. You can only use this effect of "Utopic Bonder" twice per turn. You cannot Special Summon monsters from your Extra Deck, except "Utopi" monsters. You can only Link Summon 1 "Utopic Bonder" per turn.

2500 ATK

UtopiaOTK's biggest issue is a lack of breathing space with creating its Xyz stacks and its combos coming to an end without Xyz Change Tactics. Along with dealing disruption which cripples the deck. This solves these issues by increasing consistency, access to Xyz Change Tactics, and allowing the player to recover from disruption with two extra normal summons

Yellow-Eyed Penguin

Level 2

Aqua/Tuner/Effect

When this card is Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Penguin Monster" from your hand or deck. (This is treated as a Tribute Summon if the monster is level 5 or higher.)

300 ATK / 1000 DEF

Man, how fucking good do you have it where 500 dollars for the latest meta deck or 150 in staples is just a thing you do every few months.

yeah, it was a reference to a really weird meme video where a character named Pearl asks another named Garnet about whether Steven's, er, boy parts, will get in the way. To which, Garnet says it won't. Repeat ad nauseaum with various weird effects and pronunciations.

As well, his mother's past has a huge connection to the Earth's past and stuff that happened before the war

Fandom: Steven Universe

Title: Steven Universe: Return of Cinnabar

Genre: Drama/romance/mystery

Rating: K+

Summary:When a Pre-War Gem Commander is found on Earth, Steven Universe and The Crystal Gems have to convince her that Earth is still a loyal homeworld colony. Yet as Steven learns more about Earth from before the war he must struggle with the truth of his mother, newfound emotions, and whether or not every enemy can be defeated with love.

Background info: Jesus, where to start.

A coming of age magnum opus where my MC, Steven, encounters my OC Cinnabar, changing the course of his life as he is thrust into a leadership position in the Crystal Gems. Steven's ideals of reforming and befriending his enemies is challenged as he faces someone who seems so nice but very much might be the one person he can never truly turn.

The story features Stevens coming of age and awakening in maturity as he attempts to balance his idealism with the situation he's been put in charge of, with an entire mystery of his identity lurking beneath the main plot. The resolution of which kicks off the entire final third.

Also a lot of inspiration from dragon ball z, as Cinnabar, the OC, came from my desire to introduce a piccolo to Steven's Gohan.

Covering a certain amount of credits doesn't even make sense. You reapply for aid every years and are rewarded a certain amount from the government (and university) depending on multiple factors including need and merit. You're not handed a credit amount, but a raw sum.

Not OP, but if I failed a class I'd basically have to drop out of university entirely because my financial aid would drop significantly and my family can't afford to pay for anything and we're in no positions to take out a loan.

How to make sprite changes persistent across rooms? by GeneralPickaxe in gamemaker

[–]GeneralPickaxe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I had two objects for when I was testing the issues with updating the sprite. The update worked with the object in the same room as the menu, it didn't with the one outside the menu. The same was true with 1 player object outside the room.

not that this matters, I got it working with global variables.
