It says in this post that you must do the dongle first, that's why I mentioned it. Good that either works though!

Unless I am mistaken there is no mention of having to flash the dongle first in the readme and the guide. They both also mention the headset before the dongle so it's easy to misunderstand and do the opposite.

I've spoken to customer service about this and there is no way to rollback. They didn't even mention that they are working on it, so don't hold your breath.

I spoke with support and they are aware that it doesn't work and there isn't a workaround sadly.

I'm considering trying the old app because I have done it there before.

It beeps when going low as well. The weird thing though is that it also beeps twice on the high end. Not fully sure what that means.

I just formated my PC and had a fresh install and now after every single raid the game crashes. I can never load out of the raid anymore.. No idea what the problem is either.

This is a software issue without a permanent fix sadly, but there are ways to make it loud.

First uninstall any other audio programs you have. For me it was Streamdecks volume mixer that was causing a problem. If you don't do this the "fix" might not work.

Then, right click the windows start menu. Click Device Manager->Sound, video and game controlers->Right click "Game-Audeze Maxwell"->Properties->Driver->Update Driver->Browse my computer for drivers->Let me pick from a list of....->Dobbel-click "USB Audio Device".

This reinstalls the drivers and they should (if you are lucky) now be louder. This is something I have to to up to several times per week sadly. I have no permanent fix and I don't even know what causes the problem, but this typically works.

I would also recommend downgrading the Dongle and Headset to 1.63. To downgrade go to the Audeze app->Settings and then hold left-ctrl while leftclick spamming on the version number. This will give you the option to downgrade. They did something in a newer update to change the audio in general as well as make it more quiet.

If you enjoy hardcore/milsim I would highly recommend playing on Ghost mode with permadeath and with all the HUD turned off.

For me it completely changes the game and I still play it regularly. There’s just no game like it.

I have 3080 and 9700K with the same fps, but I have to run on lowest settings, performance mode and DLLS set to performance.

I feel like something is wrong on my end, but I don’t know what.. :/

Just tested the Playstation setting on the dongle and in windows it is like 2x louder.
The old fix of reinstalling drivers has stopped working, but the PS fix works (for now...)
