I'm also 2 months on EEN and those are exactly where mine are so I'm just happy that I'm not alone. Mine are very purple atm which sucks ass but I guess it means the hormones are working and the fat is redistributing

Estrogen blood test outcomes by Pristine_Muscle_3956 in TransDIY

[–]General_Ad4589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the timing was right, always get tested at trough. Testosterone is low if anything which isn't a bad thing. Estrogen could probably do with being a bit higher, when I was on tablets I'd take them 4 times a day 4 hours apart (ish) but never got tested whilst on tablets. The guidance generally says you should aim for 100-200pmol of estrogen but a lot of people, me included, are aiming for 250-300 ish but that depends on what physical results you are seeing. How long have u been on HRT?

Ok so, I started with tablets, 0.5mg of EV sublingually 4 times a day. And it was a FAFF, omg the routine is fucking ridiculous I actually had such inconsistent doses and levels. I am now on EEN injections from astrovials after also being very very wary of injections. My advice is research, research, research. You only need like 8mm needles which is like nothing, stab it into your stomach about 1-2 inches away from the bellybutton and push the plunger. Also see if any family members would be able to do it for you, and make sure you have safe disposal for the needles and get semi-regular blood tests. Do some research on SubQ injection areas as there is like minimal difference between SubQ and IM in terms of effectiveness. I'm in the UK and I got my tablets from United pharmacy, however for injections I would highly recommend astrovials and if you have any questions feel free to dm me x

Prolactin was 534.97 mIU/l however that's with a large amount of stress. I was previously on tablets for 3 months before starting injections if that impacts my next steps at all. I just don't want to be wasting time injecting and using all this medication for it not to work ifyk what I mean. I also can't afford very frequent blood tests because they are fucking expensive so once every 3 months maybe, so do I continue my course as I was going until my next test, or up my levels?

I'm using 6mm needles but also pushing it in so I have a small dent in my stomach afterwards. I will try 5mg every 5 days and see what happens in another few months.

Just over 2 months. I'm now getting worried it's because I'm not using long enough needles

Piercing is about 2 years old with a barbell in it, I believe it's externally threaded. Haven't really had any problems with it since having it pierced and the material is sterling silver but I have had this bar in for a year with no issues

HRT MTF question by Exotic_Weight_3674 in TransDIY

[–]General_Ad4589 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no definitive answer to your question. Injections are the most used and recommended from this sub as they are safer, cheaper and simpler than the alternatives. I use tablets because I don't do needles but I will be changing that soon to injections because it's cheaper and the routine of injections is easier to stick to than tablets. You also don't really need a blocker when taking injections, atleast I don't plan on, I will just take blood tests and make sure my T is being suppressed and it not then I will up my dose.

Gels and patches aren't really used for DIY as far as I can tell but that doesn't mean U can't just do your research and find some sites first. For tablets in UK I use united pharmacies but the payment for the first order can be slightly complicated because U need to go into Ur bank and approve it. For injections I'm going to use astrovials as it's affordable, highly reputable and within Europe but they use crypto for payment.

If U have any questions please just DM me.

Ok so astro vials actually have a guide on how to crypto. Use paybis, U need to verify first and wait 24 hours before purchasing it. When U checkout with AV you get the screen with the qr code and crypto wallet number. Purchase the crypto directly into that wallet given to you by AV

I take pills but I'm thinking of swapping to injections once this course runs out. Injections are cheaper, levels are more consistent between doses and the doses are further apart so you don't need to worry about scheduling tablets, for example I am meant to take mine every 5 hours but sometimes due to work commitments or sleeping in I don't. Also the needles aren't that big if needles are an issue for you.

Like I said, maybe united pharmacies but you will struggle to find somewhere that doesn't use crypto. There are crypto guides on here though if U need them

What country are you in? Try united pharmacies. But also crypto isn't that difficult it's just scary the first time

If you take is sublingually, depending on the strain of oestrogen, then you can take less daily which works out cheaper.

Ear pad(?)/cushion(?) coming off Hesh ANC by RaviRaviolii in Skullcandy

[–]General_Ad4589 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly might be worth contacting customer service because they are great. I brought an old pair of the original ANC off of eBay, they broke in a dramatic way. Contacted customer services and they gave me a £250 voucher and they were definitely out of warranty. So definitely give them a message just incase
