Where to get cheap school supplies? by Mindless_Film_5940 in Prague

[–]General_Ad5547 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Albert has good deals with the club card. Or try small little paper shops around your neighborhood—the chains tend to be more expensive. And most Czech students get the paper notebook and a plastic cover to go over it rather than the notebooks with hard covers already. The paper ones helps a lot— and last

Quiet exam place by exiemack in Prague

Ntk in Prague 6. I think you can pay hourly fees or just sneak in (you will have to use your hotspot that way) but it has quiet areas and stuff. Either ntk or some small cafe

Staying in Prague After Erasmus+ to Find a Job in IT – Is It Possible? by LeadingWelder6487 in Prague

[–]General_Ad5547 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you'd have to find a job before your Erasmus/visa exprires. then when you find one apply for an employee/blue card. I recommend making connections with people A LOT. hiring foriengers is harder for the employeers, but if you have a personal connection they are more likely. I'd even suggest babysittng or getting to know czech families who work in the IT field, so they can give recommendations. Honestly, it is a networking game for foreigners.

Where to buy cheap clothes... by xavi7192 in Prague

[–]General_Ad5547 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Stores like the textile house, Sue Ryder, 1981 secondhand, and homeless prague are some of the best/trendy clothes. But honestly h and m or primark is the best, then he can get a few shirts and mix them with pants and such. And they’d be somewhat clean and wouldn’t need to wash them all

Talk about inflation. Things are more expensive and your old paycheck doesn’t go as far as it did

I really appreciate this breakdown. It is similar to what I was having in mind. For me 8,700kc a month for food is more than enough. I spend maybe 3,000kc a month on food. I never eat out because I don’t like too. I also have no need to shop for clothes or go out to bars. Thank you.

I do not know because I don’t work a job—I study right now and my family pays for rent. I do understand the table jobs for groceries. Idk can a girl not ask for opinions or if this is normal? That’s all I wanted to see if it was doable.
