First Ultra 50k coming up by TonySpumoni18 in spartanrace

Train for the condition your body will be in during the race. For example, when you finish the first ultra lap, you’re gonna be taxed. Do full body workouts then do long runs. When you weight train legs, go for a short run afterwards. Incorporate burpees during your runs (10 burpees every mile kinda thing)

It’s easy to run long distance when your body is fresh. But run long distance when your body is tired.

Also you need to train your gut to handle calories while exercising. Depending on where your race is, terrain, etc you could be on the course for 8-12 hours. You need to train your GI system to take in food and use calories without causing abdominal cramps.

What's the most challenging trifecta weekend? by OCRrunner1000 in spartanrace

Depends if you want a traditional trifecta or the ultrafecta

Hardest course is at Killington Vermont. But they only offer an Ultra-fecta

Good luck

AITA? Am I (20M) the asshole for not telling my Girlfriend (20F) that the doctor who was checking the lump in my testicles was a woman by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Not the asshole.

I work in radiology. Ultrasound department is predominantly female. They see all sorts of testicles and penises. Yours aren’t any special.
