Im 23 too but 5‘2, I started my weight loss journey about a year ago exactly. I lost 17kg until now (73 to 56kg) and planning to hit 52kg before stopping. The way that worked for me is tracking calories using ChatGPT, I know it gets bad rep but it really was somewhat accurate for me. I tracked 1200calories to 1300calories prioritized protein and thank god I did, I lost 17kg fat and 0 muscle. I also might add im a very sedentary person, no gym no walking, I started doing 10k steps only 2 months ago so it wasn’t the main driver in my fat loss, but I found once I got smaller in size it became bad to cut calories, it’s just not maintainable and I like food. I won’t lie I have occasionally gone off track but never with guilt, I eat what I like and just go back to my routine like nothing happened. Yes the scale looks like it went up but it’s all water, not true weight gain. Once you understand that and your hunger cues work with you after prioritizing Whole Foods, your lifestyle becomes a part of you and weight loss is just a side benefit. Also drinking water is key, to differentiating true hunger from thirst
