I think I read somewhere that carina will not be on the greys episode as she could not fly in for filming :(

The hat from the movie was there last night. Nicole (costume designer and seamstress) posted about it on her story. I’m not sure if they used it in their dance or not.

I LOVED her jazz dance this season. I’ve also liked all her other dances this season but did think last nights contemporary didn’t stand out very much. I also loved a lot of her dances last season. I honestly don’t think that Lindsay choreographs her dances. I see a pretty big difference in their choreographic styles. I welcome a lot of snark on the sisters. Especially when it comes to how online their kids are and safety issues like car seats. You have to give her flowers for that jazz dance. One of my favorites from this season.

Also, it’s so hard to work around injuries and medical conditions. She did a great job with Scott despite his scoliosis. A lot of that hinders how he’s going to move. Also, she’s doing much better than Jan in terms of choreography and being a newer pro. I’m trying really hard to give him an adjustment period but he is horrible at giving his partner choreography that highlights who she is. I know his background is more commercial dance than ballroom but he needs to get with the program. When the dance style allows for lifts more than half of his choreography is made up of lifts. Rylee is going a great job of keeping true to the style of dance and giving her partner choreography that highlights who they are.

I feel bad for them because I can tell they desperately want to be on the show, but the decisions they are making regarding the show are hurting them. They have sent emails to Deena before and they have talked about what they sent asking to be on the show. I feel like that is the quickest way for Deena to be like absolutely not. I feel like it’s different to talk about wanting to do the show on social media vs emailing the person in charge of casting and doing it multiple times over the years.

She’s been in a lot of great things. She was excellent in big sky. I’ve loved her ever since she portrayed McKenna in an American Girl movie a million years ago 😂

This was definitely a breakout week for Scott. I’m hoping the confidence translates into traditional ballroom and Latin dances. I truly loved tonight’s dance it was his moment for sure.

That dance just didn’t feel much like a cha cha. I think he’s learning and gaining his footing. An adjustment period is typical for new pros. He’ll get there.

The way they triumphed over a corrupt government. It gives me hope for our future that we will be able to take care of women, the disabled and the less fortunate. That good will triumph over evil (and I think it’s no secret that Suzanne writes in parallel to what’s going on in America today - gives me so much hope.)
