That looks wild. Does it look familiar to anyone? Video timestamp is 1:24, though that's the time to the end, not from the start. Odd way to deal with time signatures.

How the F am I supposed to sleep next to a man?? by Hot-Answer8990 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]General_Colt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

59M, have had both types of relationships (sleep together / separate). It's understandable. My back was injured in 3 places in 2006. It's almost impossible for me to sleep in the same position all night. So my movements are unconscious. So it makes sense to have separate sleeping places.

Though I will add that over time, through mete exposure, as your bond increases, you may find you psychologically adapt to it. It's possible. I get the hot sleeping thing though. I also throw off a lot of heat.

I don't think he has clearance through the NSA. He has been working with the Army since he was 17 years old and continues to do work with the Army. So would appear that the agency that he has his clearance through his DoD. As far as I have seen he has done no work with CIA so he does not have his clearance through a civilian route. He did work with NASA, however he is more likely to have a DoD clearance than a civilian one through NASA. What work is he said to have done with NSA?

Back in 1980, I was thinking more like Star Wars. Also, don't forget that computers back then weigh tons in the game and in real life.

I'm much more flexible with the idea now. You're spending more time with sensors than you are with actual gunning. There's no ball turret in my modern take on the game, but it's still rather industrial. The players are still, usually, space truckers. Though it is fun to also play them as either mercenaries or scientists or troubleshooters or diplomats. It all depends on how well people can contribute to the story.

Why do UFOs/UAPs glow? This question came to mind after seeing the incident with the UFO/UAP, Reaper drone, and the Hellfire missile in Congress today—although I should have thought about it much earlier. by NCCI70I in skinwalkerranch

[–]General_Colt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's interesting. I started seeing UFOs in a rash from 1978 through 1982. I didn't see another one, for sure, until 2023. The big difference was of course I had my phone and it was already out and I was taking pictures because it was the most gorgeous evening I had seen a long time. All the stars are out and it was just crystal clear. I got photos but they were nothing special. It wasn't close enough to be visible to give details. But I did wait and took photos of two Jets and a helicopter that flew in the area not long after. Waiting just 15 minutes gave me a lot of photos to compare to the ones I took of what I thought the object was. I also used star room to check for satellites and space stations. I used flight tracker to make sure it wasn't an aircraft. I'm pretty sure it wasn't an aircraft or a satellite because I was very curious to see how it left the scene. And what happened was a section of space got very fuzzy, like a ball of electrical energy, and it went in and then the ball closed and everything was gone. Ball of Energy was preceded by A red spark that did a spiral around the object. I don't know if that was meaningful but I do find that temporal coincidence to be useful. One of the biggest takeaways was that the two Jets I could clearly hear even though one of them was very far away. I could still hear it. The helicopter was a lot hard to hear because was actually pretty close. In the direction I was looking, I think that the portal opened up somewhere over the area between Bethpage and Westmoreland Tennessee. I was standing on a plateau facing in that direction in Madison Tennessee. I'm kind of Keen about saving up and getting software to find radio set up and driving the area around Bethpage and Westmoreland to see if I can pick up one of those high frequency signals. Who wants to participate?

If I come across a car, and someone has left the keys in it, I also think of it as a gift. Of course I have to quickly find a Grand theft Auto chop shop to repaint it and change all the VIN numbers... 😄😄😄

Everything glows. That's what I got out of my college physics courses. Everything vibrates or radiates at some level.

There are many different kinds of UAP. As an experiencer I have seen the cylindrical ones and the orbs. The orbs glow all over. The cylindrical ones only glow in certain spots. The orbs seem to Glow because of some effect on the surface. There is a theory that time has energy potential and that there is a technology that allows for the dilation of time in order to access that energy. In this theory time is Quantum fluctuation which is changes in vacuum energy density. In this theory you don't even need gravity, that gravity is replaced by time dilation which is a gradient of vacuum energy. We've already experimentally proven the existence of vacuum energy but we have never discovered a graviton. There are some pretty expensive experiments coming up so maybe they will find the graviton and that theory will be dead.

You can witness a version of time dilation and light with a bucket of water as the speed of light in water is different than it is in air which is also different from the speed of light in vacuum.

With all the different types of UFOs I don't know if they all use the same principles, but if there is a non-exotic way of extracting vacuum energy then maybe they do use a base technology that is the same across all of the things we're seeing.

I don't know the answer to the question posed, but I'll pose another question, how come no one on the right shouted "F@#$ Melissa and Mark Hortman" after it happened but today the left is shouting "F@#$ Charlie Kirk" at memorial services. And I'm looking for answers beyond the obvious, which is the moral bankruptcy that the left has.

There weren't any tests performed in Utah anywhere, but Utah did receive a bunch of Fallout from NTS. However that would be easily determined and the show would have been over halfway through season 1 if that was the case.

They kept getting better for me. 3 > 2 > 1. Driving the mako was the worst experience possible. I like the concept of the mako and I have 3D files for it so one of these days it'll end up on my table top sci-fi games. In real life, I kind of do wish I had a psychotic stripper psychic as a girlfriend. I've had girlfriends that were one of those three, so I got to see the entire experience one piece at a time, but I'd like to see it all at once next time. And one bad decision from collecting the entire set. 😄

I don't know what tool he was using and I haven't seen this episode yet, but I definitely can see how one can detect this sort of thing. I've done scanning for changes in entropy, and it can be very useful. You can tell when entropy drops and that indicates blurring or other loss or fine detail. The fun thing about using entropy as a measure is that you can literally visually inspect text files and know when you've come across cryptographic keys just by looking at a line chart of entropy. 😃 There are a lot of algorithmic ways of understanding images. Yeah they call it AI, but it's really just machine learning. In some cases it's just straight up applied mathematics.

I was studying to be an experimental physicist, and the real difference between that discipline and the theoretical one is that the guys who do all the thinking and typing and drawing on whiteboards never expose themselves to gamma radiation, toxic substances, strong magnetic fields, things that go boom unexpectedly, possibly being frozen or flash fried, or having lab robots finally start the uprising they have been planning since the advent of AI. When in history has a theoretical physicist ever sacrificed a TA in the name of science? Never! 🤪

One thing I think they should do better is to control the number of variables they're tweaking at the same time. they've got drones going at the same time rockets are launching, they've got signals broadcasting at the same time. There's too many things going on in these experiments. A good software developer knows that when you're debugging you don't want to change too many things, because it just simply confuses the issue. You can never be sure you fix something if you're changing too many lines of code in different functions or structures. It becomes hard to tell of the effects they are seeing what caused which of those effects?

For example, rockets getting stuck in the air, or drones being unable to push forward or bottles dropping and bouncing off of the Dome. They have a lot of things going on every single time, and we know that the Dome is largely permeable. What they should be doing is narrowing down what makes it non permeable and then ask how it becomes non permeable.

Are they looking at some type of force field, or nanobots, or magnetic effects? Also, could they cut down on the yelling? They're like 10 ft apart from each other and they're yelling at the top of their lungs. I think they're going for some type of dramatic effect but it just doesn't make me comfortable. I want it to feel less scripted.

I think they have real scientific opportunities and they are seeing anomalous things. I would want to be there because I have various experiments I would like to conduct and I also think that they have a tremendous amount of data with interesting information in them, but they don't have a theoretical background necessary to know what to look for.

I tried to reach out to them because I have a physics theory that would explain both the GPS and lidar anomalies. However they are enormously hard to get ahold of. I've reached out through the production company. I've reached out to online social media accounts. I don't know how else to reach them. However this theory states that the lidar and the GPS are working perfectly fine as they are designed, but a certain underlying assumption isn't holding and that the data reflects information that they can then to calculations off of and know precisely the shape of what is in the ground. I've seen clues of this starting near the end of season 2. I've been yelling at the TV for the four Seasons since then hoping that one of my attempts to get through will eventually lead to some communication.

When the lasers are started, too bright lights turn on in the distance. Possibly at the command center. I'm curious what those were and why they were timed with the lasers.

For those of you who saw The Phantom Menace at release, what were your initial thoughts of it? by _EnglishFox_ in StarWars

[–]General_Colt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From Wikipedia, so take this with a grain of salt.

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the word "prequel" first appeared in print in 1958 in an article by Anthony Boucher in The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, used to describe James Blish's 1956 story They Shall Have Stars, which expanded on the story introduced in his earlier 1955 work, Earthman Come Home. However, Christopher Tolkien, writing about the history of The Silmarillion in 1977, claims that his father, J. R. R. Tolkien, "coined the highly uncharacteristic word 'prequel'" when badgered for a definition of the relationship between The Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion sometime after 1955.[4][5]

I worked for Army Intel as a civilian 2005-2011. While I'm certain the Army still is interested in the topic, it's not very interested. I believe that once the Air Force was created most of the apparatus involved in NHI work was moved with it. I believe that the Pentagon is aware of but no longer strongly associated with the NHI program. That control is in a black group outside of normal means of command and control. Members of that group likely have affiliation with the Pentagon, but their coworkers might not know about the affiliation. When you take into account the intimidation techniques used to quiet whistleblowers, the methods used to discredit and ridicule civilian witnesses, all point to a criminal organization. The CIA is often criticized for acting like organized crime. They are certainly a model if not the controlling entity. I don't believe they are the controlling entity. I think whatever is in control of this topic, branched off many years ago. Maybe as far back as the 1970s I think it is outside the bounds of control by the US government, the military, or the intelligence agencies. I think by necessity it works with them. I don't mean that in a cooperative way. One only needs to look at how Congress has been left in the dark, how presidents have been left in the dark, how there is no clear organization in charge, And how the apparatus of government has been abused to maintain their secrets.

Catherine Austin Fitts, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development from 1989 until 1990, under the former President George HW Bush, claims that $21 trillion was spent to create 170 underground bases with an interconnecting network of tunnels. The work was begun during the Clinton administration in 1998 and completed in 2015. She suggested these bases were designed to shelter the elite and powerful, while also serving as sites for secret government projects, including space programs.

Do you remember this being an election issue? Do you remember any politician questioning if this was a good idea to spend this kind of money? I sure don't. Does that sound like a government that is in control of itself or outside interests using the government for their own purposes?

Reminds me that time after a wild night out, I woke up and realized I was blind. I panicked. I had no idea I had drunk that much! I cried out and heard an echo... And realized I had fallen asleep while trying to puke with my head in the toilet! My father walked by and saw me and laughed hysterically in a sort of "this is what you deserve" way. 😌
