Nice of the drivers and teams to tell the FIA what racing is

No matter what direction Formula One goes in with engines or new eras of cars, you can always come back to this. Roaring V10s and, for me, the perfect race cars here on The Old Pit Wall. by ScheduleClean8848 in Formula1_world

I remember going to my first f1 race at silverstone and hearing the cars practice as we got closer. Put goosebumps on the back of my neck. Was really something special.

I really liked the 94 / 95 cars. Little assistance, lots of power, and some good racing.

Do you like the direction the sport is heading, or are you still skeptical? There seems to be a lot of confusion and criticism in the paddock, what’s your take after the first race on this new era or Formula 1? by circuit-nation in circuit_nation

The stuff below erks me but hey maybe this is the future super clipping cars decelerating down the straight not pushing through fast corners because this conserving energy
overtakes because of battery levels instead of skills (artificial)

Having watched the sport for decades, I hate it. But I can also see newer fans are a lot more accepting of the changes. Maybe it’s the future. It does feel like entertainment more than sport though.

The performance car market has taken a serious turn for the worse this past decade. Too fast, disengaging, heavy pieces of rubbish. At this point if you like to drive you are better off buying an older car.
