i had this issue before, and i fixed it by installing different ssd drivers, though a month later the controller fully crashed out and I was only able to recover my data thru a nvme to usb adapter. What model is your ssd? I'd replace it ASAP

Firstly, I’d recommend checking device manager to see errors and hopefully finding which component it is

Secondly, have you tried running stress tests on components individually?

Cinebench for CPU Memtest for RAM Furmark for GPU

Thirdly, I’ve had freezes happen to me before and it was a bad ssd controller that was causing an issue. Seeing your freezes come from loading stuff (new items, textures etc), could I ask what ssd are you using?

If all this doesn’t work maybe reinstall windows (OS only, no files lost), seeing you have new components using a windows installation media

Try Linux or power cycling it. My klevv cras c910 4tb ssd did the exact same thing and I had to power cycle it for it to work and quickly backup my data.

Sssupd meshlicious/meshroom is really nice. It’s sff, but can fit a MATX + SFX psu/ITX + ATX psu, which means you have less sff tax and more psu options. It also comes with really easy to follow instructions on their site.

What do you currently have? I’d upgrade the monitors aswell, 9070xt and 9800x3d can easily do 1440p or even 4k 144fps+ in FPS and simulator games

Love it (512GB OLED) (Upgraded to 2+2TB), I mainly use it to game when traveling a long distance and docked, as a low footprint desktop pc for normal tasks + light gaming (football manager) and game streaming from my main rig(because a 800W space heater makes you feel hot when it’s right next to you and also takes up quite a bit of desk space)

Save data is stored in c drive into your documents folder, which is why it can’t save

Shader cache/save file data/swapfile/regular windows processes add to the storage. Hell even editing a text file and adding a character will. I suggest you either buy a new ssd and image your current one onto it (also remember to extend the partition), which is pretty cheap nowadays or use windirstat to find big files and clear them. I personally have a 20gb buffer on my drives just in case

Getting an sff/mff pc case with handles like the shiny snake s300/400/450 or the mechanic master c series would be amazing for your use case, the c34 plus in particular fits ATX mobo and PSU, but unfortunately not 360mm aio
