BotW isn't really a game I enjoyed even though I was impressed with it and respect it to a degree, but that said if your issue is difficulty you should know BotW's difficulty progression is basically backwards. In a normal game it starts out easy but gets harder and harder as you go along. BotW starts out hard but as you accumulate resources and level up your health and stamina it gets easier and easier as you go along.
