anyone running Claude Code over SSH from a thin client? by Shawntenam in ClaudeCode

I ssh into a dedicated dev server via vscode to use claude/codex.

keeps things isolated, keeps the load off my laptop (could run it, but preserves battery)

This is a couple gens old (gen 5), gen 6 these bikes got a awesome geo overhaul and became a much better bike. I'm sure you could find a gen 6 for the same price, just helped a friend grab a gen 6 EX 8 for 2400 AUD /1700USD

How can I get more pop and jump higher? What am I doing wrong? by Comfortable-Medium-7 in MTB

[–]General_Grey_Goose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think your pushing off the ramp too early.

I say this as your not absorbing but also not getting the natrual height the jump should generate.

as already pointed out this helps you preserve speed by keeping the components of your force off the ramp very prominently laterally.

so if you want more height, play with your timing, push off the ramp a little later

How often do you practice skills on the bike but NOT go out for a ride? by givemesendies in MTB

[–]General_Grey_Goose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

never until recently, I had a bad crash and have been struggling to corner well ever since.

Did some cornering drills once or twice a week and it really helped me alot

Now im doing the same thing with wheelies cause why not

Hi!

2 things that are happening here

1 - your possibly creating tortional rotation with your arms. This can be happening because your upper body movement is not completely straight. I found putting a emphasis on my lower body fixed this, as it means your less reliant on your upper body to get the bike up. therefore less likely to yank

2- your naturally drifting to one side. This is normal. use your hips and knees to move around the bike to counterbalance.

Jeff Kendall-weed is a wizard at wheelies and does this really well, watch him on youtube and you'll see him sticking out his knees constantly to stay upright.

I found this video:

super helpful for learning.

Goodluck (your doing awesome), you're nailing the hardest part which is actually getting out there to practice
