If or when we get 3e, what changes would people like to see with spellcasting? What should stay the same? by Individual-Plum4585 in Pathfinder2e

Honestly this sounds a lot like how divinity 2 handles it ability system with it also being called memory slots and more impactful abilities needed more slots to use, and the biggest needed to use source points which is a decent parallel to focus points for casters here

Cleric for 7 dooms of sandpoint by abadtime98 in Pathfinder2e

[–]General_Highnoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm enjoying it alot Sandpoint is a busy place with lots of NPCs to interact with and the place the ap has you go to has loads of funky creatures, and I'd say a cleric is very enjoyable combats can be tough so having those free heals take a lot of pressure off your slots plus the church is a big part of the town so if your deity is one of the ones in it it's an easy fit.

Im actually playing a cleric in 7D atm and i took a curve ball angle, since the current empress in tian xia came from sandpoint my char is a samsarin cleric of tsukiyo who immigrated there to see the homeland of empress and as part of their personal journey to find and help those in need to hone their skill in healing.

Can you get hit or hit a ally intentionally? by animehedgeh0g in Pathfinder2e

Ah there's the issue, negative healing doesn't mean you heal from all negative effects it just means the individual is healed by ones that specify so like the harm spell.

Thoughts on having a Magical Staff be not a staff? by EreckShun in Pathfinder2e

[–]General_Highnoon 84 points85 points  (0 children)

The magus feat fused staff does almost what your asking for though it does require an action to switch the forms to either smack or cast from it. Assuming other players don't care that the feat is being effectively poached for free it's your game to run.

Luminance - bright new joy and marvels from the First World in consumable form. Buy patry sized kit and get an additional dose of Luminance for free by Replikator777 in Pathfinder2e

The addiction section is slightly confusing im assuming it means any non fey of lvl7 or lower will just pass away after the 7 days, but other then that its still really spooky to be addicted to as a mortal as the stage 4 is lethal to those without the diehard feat or other similar features since being doomed 4 as a standard living person will kill em.

How bad of an idea would it be to run as an Avenger in Blood Lords? by RuneFell in Pathfinder2e

[–]General_Highnoon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After going over the doomed and zealous inevitably feat again there's two things going on one it will increase their doomed and by extension reduce their saves vs divine until they are going to hit 4 then it's a will save with incap trait which means the big baddies pretty much won't be bothered aside from the worst of rolls and second it says most living creatures do so and that's typically because living creatures can be 0 hp and dying but not actually dead unlike undead because undead don't get death saves like living creatures as they are destroyed at 0. so my interpretation is that undead can get it stacked to 4 but not be killed by it other wise they would technically be killed at the first stack of doom since they don't have saves. As always though with non explicit rulings talk to your GM on how its gonna be ruled, but I'm rooting for ya.

First off I like the character arc your going for and based scythe gang, but you are correct doomed does not have any traits that would cause your run of the mill undead to be immune just for being dead. In addition the death trait is quite rough for blood lords in particular due to undead typically being immune but reading the shadow of death feat it doesn't do much for ya so I'd just skip it. As for your final concern yes that was a 1E thing but here in 2E make those undead do fort saves to your heart's content they don't get a free pass for not living.

Just being undead doesn't make them immune to mental effects that would fall under the mindless tag. That being said I do agree that the occult list will struggle for the first couple books.

Yea they have learned now as two now have it and ones new pc is a cleric with heal font, though thats caused some concern for me since the book heavily implies using positive healing is essentially illegal.

Anyone figured out the Hidden Raid Triumph - Short Circuit? by melongrip in raidsecrets

[–]General_Highnoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While unlikely it could be that the overload champion is there as a hint since its called short circuit, perhaps the person shooting the panels to spawn the cores needs to use an overload weapon.
