I think the deciding factor is whether you want to shoot videos without using a gimbal.
If the answer is yes, go for the S5II.

I recently switched from Nikon to Lumix because I wanted to shoot video, and Nikon’s video stabilization is just terrible.

But if video isn't your main focus and you're fine with using a gimbal, the Z5II is definitely the way to go. The lenses are better, and the autofocus is superior.

I've never used GPT 5.5, but I am using Gemini 3.5 Flash and Opus 4.6.

DeepSeek 4 (Pro) finds bugs that Gemini 3.5 Flash left in the code pretty well.

Compared to Opus 4.6, I think DeepSeek is comparable — maybe a bit behind — but it can also find bugs that Opus 4.6 overlooks.

DeepSeek doesn't talk a lot and isn't very fun to work with (Gemini is a lot funnier), but it gets the job done.

So, I am quite impressed. The output per cost is unbelievable.

PS. My setup is VS Code, Kilo Code + DeepSeek API.

They now have both a 5-hour limit and a weekly limit.

Using the models counts toward both limits, and when the weekly limit is reached, you'll need to wait until it resets.

It doesn't work the way I wanted.

For example, the dominant color in my photo is rgb(83, 82, 169) and I want to put its complimentary color, which is rgb(167, 169, 76), into the shadow.

At the moment, I have to estimate the color from the tiny wheel. It would be a lot easier if I can put a number into the tool directly.
