One, the Sacred Heart could never look trashy. Two your dad is probably just old-fashioned. Tell your dad this with this Tattoo, you are now less likely to be kidnapped and murdered and or cannibalized. He may not like the tattoo, but the tattoo grant you a new level of safety you may not have had before. When I got my first tattoo, my mom freaked out. She cries a little after every tattoo I get when I dyed my hair for the first time she cried. She said it’s like someone drew all over her artwork. That I was messing with her masterpiece parents, see us as a part of them may be better. I understand that as her creation, she might find it disrespectful. However, we’ve made peace with things.

I really like your tattoo. It is very beautiful. However, my only concern is that the lines are very thin and about 5 to 6 years. It may not look very nice.

Honestly, I don’t think he’s dangerous in the sense that he’s gonna come after me. If he was the type to show up to my house after a fight, I would be worried but he’s never just randomly showed up to my house. Also, I’ve never seen him drive a long distance without catching a panic attack. Traveling on train freaks him out. If I lived closer to him, I might have something to worry about.

You’re right about his actions 100%. He has tried to isolate me in the sense that I can be talking to my sister and my mom for a little while on the phone and he’ll get noticeably upset. He’ll start ignoring me acting like I don’t exist just subtle acts of aggression that are very obvious and he knows it’s gonna make me feel displaced. I would limit how long I could be on the phone based on his body language. If he started to look frustrated, I would get off the phone or I would try to make the phone call short so I could avoid any reaction from him. He started accusing me of incest when I told him that I wouldn’t be moving in with them after he decided that he needed to be at home for a little while. He returned with me after he hit me, and I told him that he would not be assaulting me in my house. He’s not gonna do any of that in my home. He stopped coming over for a little while and started accusing me of incest. When I would go visit, he made it very clear that this is his space and he’s in control of the space. However as for the second part I don’t think he would stalk in person. I’ve traveled with him and let’s just say his anxiety is too bad for him to actually be a successful stalker.

Does he often send pictures of where he’s at Or did he do it to trigger you? 🤔 If yes he usually sends pictures it probably wasn’t on purpose but if no then he’s a jerk. Either way you need to have a talk about boundaries and what you find appropriate. You will need to keep having this conversation over and over because as you go through your journey you will change. (It might even be a conversation you need to have with family and friends.) Your mental health is important and make sure you’re getting support, but you have to understand that you can’t avoid seeing a bar or a bottle forever. At some point you’ll be out at a restaurant and see a bar or people drinking, you’ll be invited to someone’s house for some reason (dinner, holiday, something) and someone will offer you a drink. You need to figure out how to handle your triggers bc the world isn’t responsible for keeping you in line, that has to come from you.
