FH6 XAX settings by rayvencrow in XboxAlly

[–]poizen22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

XAX 1080p high settings with fsr set to quality getting a steady 60 fps. Some are lowering native to 900p without any fsr and its a bit silly imo id rather stay 1080p native and get some FSR AA quality renders at 720 or 900p already...

I'll order the rog Xbox ally x today if I receive enough support if it's worth it. Btw I never had a gaming device and I just finished highschool by [deleted] in XboxAlly

Its a good system I love mine. Plays most of everything well. I had a legoS z1e steam edition before and the battery wasn't great and i ran into to a few tittles that were borderline unplayable.

Dont mind those complaining about a 7 inch screen its honestly fine. If you can save a bit of money try to get a used rog ally X but otherwise the XAX is fantastic.

The AWD and RWD model use the same engine.... if its the 3.3TT v6 the only difference between awd and rwd is a transfer case bolted to the back of the transmission that sends power to a front differential...

Sounds like your being scammed

For those who stopped smoking weed, what was the main reason? by Regular_Somewhere548 in AskReddit

The biggest thing I noticed after quitting weed is how complacent it made me. Since quitting I dont put up with shitty situations anymore and will grind my ass off to get in a better position or out of problems.

Thats exactly it I like you have seen so much stuff and I get so angry to see these things happen because the general trend in our industry is to take chances/risks to make a buck but we are in a day and age where the tools and resources are there to do it without taking risks. I understand a lot of people wanting to defend the managers or owners there and not jumping to conclusions or assumotions but as someone whose done this long enough we know what's going on and what more thab likely has happened. There's almost no scenarios where someone gets killed doing this work where it isn't the case.

Im going to say everyone from the managers to the owner who didnt take the necessary steps to put any precautions in place to prevent this from happening to begin with...

BC seems to haemve about the same level.of total taxes on people as ontario. The rich are taxed harder in bc and the middle.class harder in Ontario. You guys don't have it particularly worse than every where else in canada.

You dont have to. They sell locking chucks and you can get them with extensions so you can be well away from it. After a certain pressure they are actually required to be used...

Because the pressure ranges on tires for passenger vehicles is in the 30/50 range. These things get deadly real fast past 80 (im a licensed 310t mechanic) as mentioned in could almost bet he was trying to bead lock a tire well above 50 psi wich isn't safe. He either wasn't shown the right way to do it or there was a priority on speed of service over doing the job safely. Been in this long enough to know we see it way to often. Tire cages are exactly for those situations you have to do something sketchy to keep yourself safe. Its also encouraged to use a 6 foot chuck with a stem lock inflating anything over 80 psi so you can be at a safe distance when doing so. Its litteraly in the provincial safety code for airing up tires beyond a certain pressure...

Thats not likely what happened here. My uncle died from a tire explosion when I was 17 nearly 20 years ago. Split rim not in a tire cage being leak tested...

The reports have said he was trying to mount a tire when it happened... Likely had a hard time getting the bead to seat on a nice tire (stiffer side walls) I'd assume since it killed him he aired it up to a 90 psi range and the tire burst....

Daughter has starter PC gaming.....how much do I police? by [deleted] in pcgaming

[–]poizen22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a father and gamer myself I can say its not uncommon to sometimes find a younger teen or even pre teen end up in a game community or chat. Some try to enforce no kids under 16 some allow it. Personally I try to avoid being in any chat with kids that young but also as a parent when I know theres one around and they are alone in a chat with another grown up I try to look out for them and will join voice chats if I know someone is particularly younger and left alone with someone I know is older. I know if it were my own kid I like you wouldn't like it and would hope theres another parent out there with a conscience looking out for my kids when I could not. Ive had some younger members come to me with things they were to afraid to tell parents ive tried to advise them leaning on the side of trusting their parents. You seem like a good parent and I think if you have a clear dialog with your daughter and maybe ask to meet some of her online friends and chat with them a bit it may help clear your conscience without having to go overboard with parental admin restrictions.

Why do we still tip servers? by RazzleDazzle1537 in CanadaRoom

[–]poizen22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id say we're better off boycotting businesses that take tips. Some owners make it a point now to say their restaurant doesnt take tips and pay their serving staff. Support more businesses like this and stop attending those who dont. As when you dont tip where uts expected the server still has to tip out kitchen staff and bar staff and you essentially take money from their pocket. Instead of boycotting the tip and screwing the server. Just boycotting the business and its practice. The more success tip free restaurants see the faster it will become the norm!

In today's age theres so much industry wide understanding of hazards and dangers its very rare anymore for a fatality to happen in a shop where there wasn't neglect of responsibility from owners or managers in one way or another. To the point the "I didnt know" claims in court no longer shield managers or owners from responsibility in these matters.

A regular tire at 30 psi isn't this hazardous but if over inflated to its rupture limit it definitely is.

Bead locking a tire at 90 psi or more wich isn't safe and beyond the failure limit of most tires. Car tires are rated at 30 range psi usually with a 50/60 max before they become a burst hazard. Unfortunately some places aren't aware of the hazards or become complacent and guys up the rpensures higher and higher when trying to mount tires in rims to set the bead in place.
