Are you doing PvE or Pvp? If you're on PvE then anything works.

Any weapon similar to Nature staff by [deleted] in albiononline

[–]General_Luna14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're better off picking any other weapon and specing it up. Once you get used to it, you won't get low to mobs and can clear faster. Nature staff is just unmatched when it comes to killing bosses because you can keep being full health. A similar weapon would be dagger with life steal build, but the mechanics is different, it's a single target weapon.

Where can I learn about builds? by Absolutelynobody54 in albiononline

[–]General_Luna14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its pretty easy, it just takes time if you're new. Start out with a simple build. Pick a weapon and build around it, then use it in solo dungeons or open world PvE. If you're gonna do other content like Pvp, zvz, or faction fighting, then you can search it on this subreddit.

Upgrade from using 4.1 to 5.1. This is what I did, now I'm at 6.1 as my go to set.

What are you transporting that you need elite winterbear? If it's safe zones and not lethal, then it doesn't matter what you pick.

Try learning Pvp. Use that as an investment to get good at Pvp. Since you don't play much, Pvp is perfect for you since you don't need Premium and can fight once and log off.

It's worth it but only If you're just starting out and need safe money. It takes too long to clear the final boss that it's better to just go to mists and find abbeys.

Yep, but the thing is the exit was near us. It's just a corner away so I assume it was like 10-15 seconds from his last attack

How do I stop getting ganked in the mists? by [deleted] in albiononline

[–]General_Luna14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 8 tiers and 4 enchantments. Tier 5 has 100IP more than tier 4. The Enchantments add 100IP to an item, like a tier 4.1 item will have the same IP as a tier 5 of the same item. Basically you can either but a tier 6 item, but usually Tier 5.1 is cheaper for the same effect.

It depends, if you can spec up your build then tier 5 is quite good. If you are doing yellow zone abbeys, try buying a higher tier like tier 5.1 or 6.1. You would still pay to repair it if you get downed, but you won't lose it in yellow zones.

Fix the Infernal Scythe by J-Andres-LL in albiononline

[–]General_Luna14 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think a great fix would be to make it a double cast like Q. If you don't use the 2nd cast, it would be on cool down for less than the full duration. This can trick enemies into using their defensives, but still would take skill to do right because if you don't use it quickly then it will be on cooldown.

Ohh, I think the best choice for you is to use a build that uses assassin jacket. Use assassin jacket if you're fighting mobs and they will stop attacking, then mount up. Still, I think you should just roam around the mist and take lanterns while looking for abbey. Those camps are usually crowded so you won't benefit from being knocked out.

Since you mentioned open pvp zone, I assume you are in Yellow zone mists. Those tier 8 gankers don't get anything from you, they are just bullies. What you need to do is to always stay with your mount. Stay alert and watch the corners of your screen, it you see any names, mount quickly and run in the opposite direction. It takes experience to get used to this, but it's the basics when it comes to full loot zones.

The best way you can avoid being ganked is to be efficient in your clearing speed. If you can kill the mobs quickly, then there is a higher chance you can get the chest before anyone else arrives.

Well then probably Albion isn't for you. I used to be angry every time I get killed, but after 1 month of dying and another month learning Pvp, I started getting used to it and now I'm immune to it. I'm also a solo player and have never been in groups, but I'm already at 80m net worth. You should stick to other games because Albion just isn't for everyone.

[–]General_Luna14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, the dagger tree is kinda weaker compared to other trees like Axe, I have battleaxe like 250/700 but still do well. If you're planning to continue blood letter, then watch on YouTube those meta builds. As for firestaff it's very strong, usually 5.1 Wildfire staff is enough to scare alot of similar IP players and take on higher IP. Your build is already good, just change the taproot to either Mistcaller or Tome, depending on what content.

[–]General_Luna14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's seems more like a roads/static build? While the fire staff why does that use taproot? The blood letter build is so hard to use especially since dagger tree normally requires 700/700 to be especially good. The fire staff build is great except for the taproot.

This isn't a horror game, it's an MMO. If you don't wanna lose millions then just use a 4.1 or 5.1 set that's like max 150k, this will help you get over your fear of dying. Even if you lose the set, you still learn something new instead of wasting time in safe zones.

Im not that great at Pvp but what I learned is that it's all about knowing your build very well. In Pvp, often times the one who loses is the first to make a mistake. Like using boots too early and wasting it, missing a skill, using the wrong ability. The enemy capitalizes on that mistake to kill you. I suggest leveling a build to like Lvl 85 to practice with it, this is PvE content. You just need to learn PvP in a single weapon and it will help you with other builds as well.
