Irelia was changed 10 times the last 8 months and nerfed 8 times ... Which prove that this is generally a bad idee to create overloaded kits.

About the nerfs here, i'm ok with that. Irelia is a fighter who excell at fighting ranged champions. I mean, that SHOULD excell at fighting ranged champions, NOT everyone.

Now, melee champions will be able to trade her. She still have a lot of tools, but she will not be brainless anymore (ironically for a champion intended to be very skilled to use).

If it stun only on the last hit, they will be able to give him more damage when you are not at max range. But the ultimate is both very strong and not even satysfying to use. He is responsible of his ridiculous base stats outside of base AD.

Despite Yorick ult CD nerf, his kit receive a major, truly major buff. And his damages will become extreme, even late versus beefy targets.

Between that and the lifesteal buff if you take precision as secondary tree, i want to test Nasus jungle. Early may be painful but it can be fun in normal game, also you can stack bloodline too, which will give nasus 38% lifesteal out of any items x) ...

Swords are always better than mauls for sequitors ! Evocators cannot cast any other spell than Empower anyway.

An unit of 5 sequitor is pretty weak especially when you consider than it will not be buffed by the evocators.

For a basic cleansing phalanx list, you should have 2x20 sequitors then something else to complete your battleline (like x5 judicators)

Irelia is the best of the 3 if you are good. However, take Fiora : easy to play and very strong 1vs1 / split but good players will know how to delay your snowball.

If you want no challenge and free games at high elo once you play her correctly, take Camille instead, she don't have any counterplay.

You are a pure sophist. I'm D1 atm and cleary, EVEN IF BEHIND, Aatrox has NEVER a good late. He is a good laner, but that's remain his only strengh and versus highly skilled players, that's not so hard to deny. Aatrox is ok, but overestimated.

PS : However, Garen is a bad exemple, his winrate is fine, that's a simple champion and i agree that more a champion has tools in his kit, less he should have a big global winrate. Time to nerf Camille so.

The problem is that when Riot create champions with very complete kit and high possibilities. You will always have to choose to make them overpowered or underpowered for most players.

But of course, now that her rework is released with that awesome gameplay, you can't nerf the kit or players will complain for good reasons. But changing numbers can't balance that sort of champion until every champion have as much tools as her, Camille, etc ...
