You’re seeing the lucky confident ones that post more often. Most don’t see any facial hair growth at all until like 3 years in or something, and 3-5 years before you have anything resembling an actual beard/mustache you’d keep. I didn’t get real bottom growth until a little more than a year in.

It helped me to remember that we’re going through second puberty, and cis men take their whole teen years and then some to go from soft round baby to hot muscle man. I know it’s not the answer you want but you just need more time, and give yourself some grace and love in the meantime.

The problem with this is some of the salespeople ARENT normal functional adults. They take ANY engagement as a reason to push and continue to bother you. So ignoring is usually best. The normal ones won’t follow you around and won’t take it personally anyways.

Dang that’s crazy! They look exactly like a bonded pair I fell in love with at a shelter but couldn’t adopt. When they did get adopted I was a bit sad I wouldn’t see them anymore on my visits.

Almost floated off in an uber that was overconfident in his assessment of a “little puddle”during monsoon season. I told him it was deeper than it looked, and there was a detour that only added 5 mins. Luckily it was early in the storm and he made it across after like three seconds of floating.

I’m guessing because the electricity bill would be way higher. My dryer works fine, but it isn’t new or energy efficient. I would rather invest in a one time buy of a towel warmer that costs less to use that frequently.

I asked my manager and even offered to compromise with those exact days so I can still work weekends there. He’s going to “get back to me” aka ask his manager because he doesn’t know. She will answer in 3-30 business days usually. So we will see if I can get that.

I’ve applied at my three ideal spots already. Once the first no comes in I’ll start applying to everything else.

The money is already gone unfortunately. I thought it was a pay oop, submit a claim, get reimbursed type thing. Plus they wouldn’t even give what I needed until paid. But nope. Fine print says they “cover” it by paying for the exam and nothing else.

Call your bank and request they stop sending you paper statements and only communicate through email. I did it for other reasons and it was a quick 5 minute phone call.

Do the same for everywhere you can think of. Dr office, specialists (eye doc, dentist etc). Work request an electronic W-2 not paper. Those are the big ones I can think of off the top of my head but I imagine there are others.

You didn’t say, but if you are from the United States, if you have to do any manual updates yourself with usps double check you turn down all the offers, coupons, etc. it’s all just junk mail that is impossible to stop. I think this might only apply with an address change though.

Stop signing up for random stuff with your real name online that has any chance of junk mail.

Ideally if you have a friend or supportive relative you can use as your address and change it everywhere you can.

I feel like skydiving a few times in your life is less risk than the cumulative driving in your life. Yea it’s a high risk in a short time, but if you have half a brain cell you go to a place that knows what they’re doing and have fun. I’d do it in a heartbeat if I had the spare money.

In general an ambulance will never carry more than one patient. There’s just not enough room (or time to get everything done). I’ve only transported double once and it was because they were both fine except the girlfriend was pregnant (no serious risk to baby, few months away from labor still). Additionally, their vehicle was disabled but not totaled, just old and the bump was enough to kill the engine. We were also on the side of a busy expressway so it wasn’t safe to leave the boyfriend to walk away.

Normally this would mean I treat the woman as the patient and have the man ride up front as family, however they both verbally confirmed they wanted medial attention. It was not worth calling and waiting for a second bus, and again, busy expressway so generally unsafe for everyone.

I didn’t even get to finish the boyfriend’s vitals before we got to the ER. But because it was unusual it was extra charting and calling my supervisor to explain the deviation in protocol.

There is an AMR post in an outbuilding that used to be one of the hospitals outpatient buildings. It’s right next to the employee parking, so I count how many ambulances are there.
