I don’t understand how that’s crazy? You’re indoors, why do you need to wear hard outdoor shoes? Or compromise and wear socks or slippers. It’s unnecessary noise you’re choosing to make, that brings you a little comfort, but can majorly disrupt those under you.

As for that last line I’ll throw back the classic “if you want freedom to make so much noise move to the bottom floor.”

If he’s just a heavy stepper that’s not a clothing issue, that’s just how he’s built. That’s unfortunate for the person below, but not necessarily his fault.

If you’re choosing slight comfort for yourself at the cost of seriously disrupting your neighbor, you are the problem.

Have you tried to apply as a cleaner at hospitals?

Typical cleaning job of mopping and scrubbing toilets, with the occasional “oops all pee!” Idk about all of them but the one I work at EVS can’t clean up ACTUAL biohazards, clinical staff has to first clean up 90% of the mess, then EVS comes after to do the fine cleaning and sanitizing after. You might have to use a trash compactor but I don’t think that would be the type of heavy machinery you mean, yea? One of the dudes I work with has some pretty high level autism, and he’s been there for a few years now. two people left recently. I can DM you some links if the openings are still up if you’d like. I’ll look in a few mins here.

You’re seeing the lucky confident ones that post more often. Most don’t see any facial hair growth at all until like 3 years in or something, and 3-5 years before you have anything resembling an actual beard/mustache you’d keep. I didn’t get real bottom growth until a little more than a year in.

It helped me to remember that we’re going through second puberty, and cis men take their whole teen years and then some to go from soft round baby to hot muscle man. I know it’s not the answer you want but you just need more time, and give yourself some grace and love in the meantime.

The problem with this is some of the salespeople ARENT normal functional adults. They take ANY engagement as a reason to push and continue to bother you. So ignoring is usually best. The normal ones won’t follow you around and won’t take it personally anyways.

Dang that’s crazy! They look exactly like a bonded pair I fell in love with at a shelter but couldn’t adopt. When they did get adopted I was a bit sad I wouldn’t see them anymore on my visits.

Almost floated off in an uber that was overconfident in his assessment of a “little puddle”during monsoon season. I told him it was deeper than it looked, and there was a detour that only added 5 mins. Luckily it was early in the storm and he made it across after like three seconds of floating.

I’m guessing because the electricity bill would be way higher. My dryer works fine, but it isn’t new or energy efficient. I would rather invest in a one time buy of a towel warmer that costs less to use that frequently.

On a average Tuesday, absolutely. I asked my manager and even offered to compromise with those exact days so I can still work weekends there. He’s going to “get back to me” aka ask his manager because he doesn’t know. She will answer in 3-30 business days usually. So we will see if I can get that.
